Same here, I'm with OP.
Had iPhone 4 before, switched to 5 two years ago without any problems - the size of 5 is absolutely perfect for me. But I like to get a TouchID, so I waited for 6...
But after I went to store and played with iPhone 6 in my hands - all what I feel: "Apple, why?!!". It's absolutely redundant crap for those who does not sit all the day in Twitters and Facebooks. My use case is: phone calls, listening the podcasts (all I need is just button "Play/Pause" on the screen), looking at my bank account (again, just one button and a little list of transactions which fits perfectly into 4" screen), some SMS (mostly from SMS-template app, so again - just one little list on the screen), camera shoots, email reading, and other similar uses for which 4" is absolutely enough...
But in iPhone 6 - I can't even reach all the screen by one hand as in 5, I can't put it comfortably neither into my jeans pocket nor into my sweatpants when I'm sporting (where 5 fits perfectly)..

This new 6 - is absolutely unusable for my use cases, it is absolutely redundant in size - I just would never use all this redundant screen real estate which I nevertheless would be forced to store in my pocket...
So - taking into account Apple deprecated the 64GB 5s model from now on, I've just immediately bought the 64GB iPhone 5s - while they are still present here in stores... And now - I'm REALLY happy with it: I've got the extremely convenient TouchID feature, better camera etc, all in lovely 4" size.
Moreover, I've bought it more expensive than iPhone 6 in the same 64GB size - so, the money is not the issue here, the unusable size is the issue...
The iPhone 6 64GB costs here (in New Zealand, NZ dollars) $1149, and iPhone 5s 64GB in the same store (where I've bought it) - $1199.
The only one thing now worries me: what would I do after my new 5s dies, if Apple will never issue new 4" models anymore..

But one thing is for sure - I will never buy any smartphone bigger than 4". I will rather switch to some plain crappy but still compact granny-phone (sacrificing a lot of features), than to any of these oversized toys.
