Delay

I got the email from sprint informing me of an additional delay to my order. It will be an additional 1-2 weeks, I am on week 6 now. I updated the spreadsheet.

I have not gotten any e-mail from sprint about an additional delay. So I called Sprint on Tuesday 10/28 and they said if I don't get an additional delay e-mail by Wednesday 10/29 my order would be on schedule. I ordered a Silver 64 gig 6 plus on 9/22 and was told 4-6 weeks. So for me it's 5 weeks and 2 day and waiting......:(

As of today, I have not receieved the email explaining a delay, so hoping I'll get lucky and get a shipped tracking number finally. I ordered a Space Gray 128 gig Plus on 9/22 and got the 4-6 weeks timeframe, this coming Monday, 11/3 will be 6 weeks of waiting so far. Really hoping here

Just some info for you guys still waiting. I ordered my SG 64GB on 9/16, got the 1-2 week wait email on 10/24 and then the tracking email came on 10/28 which was exactly 6 weeks from my order date. And the phone was delivered today. So you folks approaching 6 weeks should definitely be getting the tracking email anyday now.

Hi
I ordered a phone last week and Sprint has already charged my credit card (full price), but the phone hasn't shipped yet. How in the world can they charge my credit card when the phone isn't going to ship for another 4 weeks???

Really?? Typically when I purchase something online- Amazon, department store, my CC isn't charged until it's shipped. I find this very strange.

Same as me when i first ordered on the 26th. Right away charged. And when i decided to cancel my order few days ago cause it still hasn't shipped they're making me go through all these hoops to get my money back. First the store i ordered from said i have to call and they will refund it and when i call they're saying the store has to.

Anyways i had to talk to a supervisor on the phone to approve it and he said i should have the money back by November 7th and if not call back. AMATEURS ALL OVER THE SPRINT COPR. Worst experience ever.

Yeah, I've had some interesting experiences with sprint in the past as well. I once had to get a replacement iPhone 5 from sprint under applecare because the one I had was damaged. I ordered the replacement from Apple directly and when I received the phone, it didn't have a SIM card so I called apple and they told me to take the phone to a sprint store. So I did and then a sim card was put in and Sprint could not activate my new phone. The number in the coding area on the phone that was programmed by Sprint was missing a digit or something. I asked if they could just swap it out in store for one that could be activated and they said no, that I would have to contact Apple and when I did that, Apple said it was Sprints fault and to contact them. So after about a week of waiting for Sprints "techs" to try to figure out why the phone wouldn't activate, I finally convinced a really nice supervisor at Apple, to send me a new phone that ended up activating. The problem was always Sprint, but Apple still sent me another phone, even gave me like 50 dollars to spend in itunes for my hassle. Sprint took many hours of my time and just kept pushing the blame on other departments and Apple. In the end I think I got 25 dollars knocked off my bill for my hassle. The only reason I still keep Sprint as my service is because of the unlimited data. Sprint handles these things terribly.

Like I said in the other thread. I had to wait 6 weeks and then sprint sent me a email that it was delayed and I'd have to wait an additional 1-4. Outta nowhere the phone showed up yesterday.

no tracking number whatsoever. it just showed up. Sprint is friggin weird.

Just requested to cancel my two orders placed on 9/20. I'll just use my six and wait for the six plus S at this point. I gave them six full weeks, I haven't received an email about a delay or tracking number. Done waiting.

Dang it, I just received the email from Sprint saying "Slight delay...blah blah blah, your revised shipping delivery timeline is 3 to 4 weeks from today" So basically they will waive the 40 dollars they took the day I ordered, but I don't get it back until after the phone is delivered. So nice of me to allow them to use my money for almost 3 months. iphone 6 plus 128gig, ordered 9/22
Such a crock

Not sure who to be ANGRY with

I just called Sprint and spoke with a supervisor. He told me that the next scheduled delivery from apple is Nov 6th and he can't guarantee my phone will be on that shipment or that the shipment will even occur. I ordered my Silver 64 gig 6plus on 9/22. The status was never updated and I never got the e-mail stating that their will be an additional delay of 4 weeks. I was always told by representatives that it would be 4-6 week maybe sooner. I will be at 6 weeks on Tuesday, somebody really dropped the ball on this one. I am really PISSED

Its so difficult to wrap my head around the idea of a possible 10 week process to receive a phone ordered. Another thing that gets me is that I signed up for a new plan to go with my new iphone 6 plus SG 128gig for $50.00 per month plus the easy pay amount from the new phone. Now Sprint seems to have changed that plan to $60 per month. Never again will I order through Sprint for a new anything. Getting on Apple site online at 3am on the sale date is the only good hassle free way to do this IMO. good luck to everyone still waiting

I just called Sprint because they had my account still on the Unlimited My Way. Based on my order date they gave me the $50 plan.

Just got an email with tracking info. The tracking number isn't active yet but at least I got one. I'll update the spreadsheet as soon as I'm in front of a computer. I ordered in 9/20 and it took 6 weeks +1 day. So I'm glad I waited because I was considering canceling my order.

Got my two tracking numbers for my orders placed on 9/20 two gold 64Gb six plus. I actually called to cancel Friday but they still shipped. I talked to them today they said they will wave activation fees as it did not ship in the six week time frame.

I just got a tracking number today. I thought UPS and Sprint don't work on weekends!! The tracking number is not registered with UPS yet, I will keep you guys posted I ordered on 9/22 64 gig silver. Keeping my fingers crossed for Tuesday delivery

I got the shipped email today and UPS tracking number (no data yet).

Finally!

I originally ordered the 6+ 64GB gold via AT&T, but towards the end of September decided to switch to Sprint. Got the confirmation today that my phone is shipping. Should be here Wednesday. Happy days!

Received tracking number for the Gold 64 GB 6+, placed the order on 10/3. Still waiting for the tracking information of my wife's 6+ Silver 64 GB

Wow you're lucky. I ordered on 25th and still nothing

Oh my friggin gosh is this legit? I used to have an iPhone registered to my phone number with imessage on it. I wiped my phone before trading it in but I may not have deactivated imessage on it. I just read that the old phone may still be attached to my number and getting my old iMessages. The only way to fix that is wipe my Apple ID and make an entire new one! I have a lot of music I bought with that Apple id. Anyone know of that's really true?

Apparently this was true. As soon as I created a seperate Apple Id just for my imessaging service it fixed the problem I was having. Before when I turned my data off at night to save battery it would tell my friend her messages were delivered to my phone when they weren't. Now that I changed it her messages auto converted to text messages instantly to send them to me since my phone number was linked to a new account.

If you really did wipe your phone before sending it in, then it should have been restored back to factory settings and unless someone knew your apple id and password, I don't believe its possible for messages to still go to it.
