I have received the tracking number for my wife's phone as well. Ordered 10/3 Silver 64 GB 6+. UPS says we will receive the phone tomorrow. So, that about wraps this pre-order experience for me and it has been an interesting one. It's a good thing that I don't have to go through this until another couple of years.

So far, I am really liking my gold iPhone (received yesterday) even thought I think it will be awhile before I get used to the size of it. I am enjoying reading and playing games on it. I hope the rest of you receive your phones soon as well. I am going to leave the google document up in case someone wants to continue updating it.

iPhone 6+ SG/64

Am I the only one that is still waiting for a September order?

I called Sprint and they gave me the same scripted response. It doesn't help that the store I ordered from told me that people that ordered AFTER me got their phones a week ago.

My two six plus orders from September 20th finally arrived. Set them both up today. They are great. Only took them 6+ weeks!

Got my preorder in for Sprint in 10/11. With a 2-4 wk timeline. Got an email yesterday saying from 11/4 it will be a additional 2-3 weeks for an iPhone 6 64GB SPACE GREY..

My issue is not with Sprint, anyone can see that regardless of carrier this is happening. WTF was Apple thinking with this? "We didn't expect it to be so huge"... Oh really so you decided on top of everything else to open in all your other territories instead of simply handling the massive bulk of preorders here at home. I'm not against them opening into new territories. I'm against their ignorance and perceived inability to direct and manage a supply chain.

Damn dude wtf. You're seriously still waiting? Wow

Yup. I am still waiting. It's a serious WTF. I have quite the entertaining thread going on Sprints customer service forum.

This whole thing is a joke. I will, according to Sprint, wait 8 weeks total for my in store order on September 25th. They have mislead me multiple times. I have made many phone calls and their amazing customer service pretty much tells me to tough it out. No shipping window, no conformation emails, no phone calls, nothing.

No compensation except for waiving the $36 activation fee. Which, to be honest they should have done immediately after my delivery dates changed from 2-3 weeks to 4-6 weeks, not after I called them 5 times to get simple tracking information. The other times they mislead me they should at least make an effort. Not just tough it out, global demand, unprecedented, scripted garbage.

No wonder their stock has plummeted and they are loosing customers left and right. I regret this decision.

I just left verizon for Sprint again and I can tell you regardless of carrier all of them are BS right now, T-Mobile, AT&T, verizon, every single one is forced to give their customers the runs around, why? Because Apple won't tell them anything. This is most definately an Apple issue. And all the carriers sück regardless of what their pretty maps show you.

Where ever the issue stems from doesn't matter to me. What matters is how Sprint handles it customer facing. It's a joke and makes me feel like I am being taken for a ride.

That's unfortunate. I called them and explained that I only had 1 of the 5 phones active on my account as the other 4 were waiting still on the preorders. They took the $100 a month charge for data and split it 5 ways and until the phones are active on the account I am only paying 1/5th of the bill, they are footing the rest.

My experience has actually been the best it's ever been with Sprint. I left last year after 13 years with them for 'greener pastures' but found that Verizon was garbage as well. I left because I (like so many others) had tired of Sprints excuses for dropped calls, slow network speeds and broken promises....and was annoyed to no end, but again, Verizon (as I found out for myself)was the Comcast of cell phone providers. Ridiculously expensive for what they give you. No remorse or care for customers experience and lied about their amazing network and speeds. Verizon, simply didn't give a damn either.

So for the $70 dollars a month savings I am headed back to Sprint.

I am sorry to hear about your experience wih Sprint. May I ask how you approached them? It seems to me (as I am guilty as well) approaching them like a bull in a china shop didn't work for me. So this time around I took a different tact, blamed Apple (rightly so) and gave them a slight piece of my mind over the shipping snafus... From there I was polite and simply asked for what I wanted. A short hold later, a short employee-supervisor conversation and I was taken care of better than I had been in about a decade from Sprint. I wish ya luck upinthecloud.

I have been nothing but nice. However, I have vented but I have made 100% sure that the representatives I have spoken with have understood I am not mad or upset with them. They are always helpful, but they literally have no information other than what they have been instructed to say via scripts.

I have called the 866 number probably half a dozen times, I have been in the store I ordered from twice and started a thread on Sprint's customer support forum.

Other than waiving the $36 activation fee, I have been pretty much told to "hang tight" with an "we don't give a **** attitude".

That sucks man. Sorry. I got that waived activation fee stuff in the delay email, which doesn't matter to me anyway because I have a Credit Union discount attached so we don't ever pay activation fees, so it's kinda a worthless gesture to me there. Good luck keep us updated.

Well, they offered to pay the activation fee twice now, but I'm going to go ahead and bet they won't pay both. ;) Since I'm on the iPhone for life plan or whatever it's called, I feel like at this point they should buy the phone out for me after my two years is up. But this Earth, not bizzaro-world where companies have good customer service that want to make customers happy.

I'll keep the thread updated. I'm just so frustrated by Sprint.

I ordered over the phone 9/20 two six plus 64 gold. They delivered today. I didn't recieve a delay email. I got a shipping email Sunday.

That's good news! Since I ordered in store I doubt I will get an email, but it makes me feel better you got yours since we ordered so close together.

I ordered a 6 plus 64g SG from my Sprint business rep on 9/12/14 over the phone. I received that phone on 10/7/14. :)

I also ordered a 6 plus 128g SG from my Sprint business rep on 9/29/14 over the phone. I have not received it yet. At the time I ordered it, I was told 2-4 weeks. I checked with my rep on 10/20/14, and he told me that the phone was back-ordered still and their best information was now 4-6 weeks from the order date. I am now at 5.5 weeks without any movement.

I emailed the rep again today and am waiting to hear back. He said he will check again. I am not going to push too hard until next week. However, once we get to 6 weeks, I feel I've given them enough leeway. They have already moved the goal posts once. Based on what I read here, I should be about a week-ish out from possibly being in the batch to receive the phone.

~Desperately Seeking to Compensate with a :apple: 6 plus :apple:

I ordered a 6 plus 128g SG on 9/22 and was given an original window of 4-6 weeks. Got the email about a delay at week 6 saying it would be another 3-4 weeks. Good luck

I completely feel your pain. I'm still waiting for my 6 plus SG 128gig that I ordered online on 9/22. I haven't called Sprint or anything because I have learned from past experiences that it will just frustrate me more because all they really do is push the blame around. Monday 11/10 will be 7 weeks since I ordered and I was given the email on week 6 stating it would be like 4 weeks longer so at this point I'm hoping to get my phone before Christmas

----------

It makes me mad that I have to wait until my phone is delivered and then within 2 billing cycles, I can expect to see the 36 dollars activation fee come back to me. Sprint has no problem taking that on day one but sure are frugal about giving it back

No word from Sprint and lessons learned

First, I posted yesterday I have no word from Sprint on my iPhone 6 plus 128g SG ordered over the phone from our business rep on 9/29. I was told 2-4 weeks. At 3 weeks, I was told 4-6 weeks. I emailed yesterday, he said he'd look into it now that it's 5.5 weeks, and I didn't hear back. I'm waiting till next Tuesday, when it's 6 weeks "plus," before I get on his backside.

Second, there are lessons to be learned from this pre-order fiasco. One possible lesson is--don't order anything that isn't right then and there available for you to take home. Many on this forum have have had luck sneaking in store and grabbing a phone. But the main lesson I learned is DO NOT ORDER APPLE PRODUCTS THAT ARE BACK-ORDERED or PRE-ORDERED FROM A CARRIER. Apple serves itself FIRST. Apple Store wait times are far, far less. On 3 occasions, I have found my very phone available for pickup immediately in an Apple Store in my area.

My problem is that Apple is an authorized Sprint Retail dealer, but not an authorized Sprint Business dealer. For non-business customers, the Apple Store can give you upgrade credit and contracts, etc., just like a Sprint Store. But they do not have any such access for business or enterprise accounts. Since I am a business customer, I'd have had to pay the full price for my iPhone 6 plus at the Apple Store. In other words, Sprint has had me by the huevos. As we pass the 6 week mark, they are preparing the ham and cheese to make a Denver omelette.

Well, we are looking for the exact same phone. Your order is exactly one week prior to mine. Your week 6 would be a few days ago? And you are saying they told you another 3-4 weeks? As in, you will receive it in December? This is epic, if so.

Lesson to be learned if people buy something faster than it can be made you will have to wait or buy something else.

yeah I ordered through sprint business as well, for the discount i got off the phone I was not going to be able to get that discount from the apple store or the sprint store (according to the people on the phone)either. next time I am going to either pre order or somehow buy the phone from apple store and try and get them to just credit my account the difference ( i wonder if they would do that?)

I'm not sure. Allegedly, by doing over the phone with my business rep, I was given the $499 contract price for the 128g iphone 6 plus. Then a $150 credit for already having an iPhone and switching to a new iPhone. Then, he still claims I will get a $200 credit when I send in my iPhone 4s to them. However the buyback number has only been like $75-85 through Sprint's buyback website. He tells me to ignore that and that it will be $200. So, in essence, I get this $499 contract price phone for $150, or so he has said. We shall see how it shakes out....if it ever does.

++To the point above, Apple had projections of how many of these would sell. They a. rushed it to market and b. failed to get higher manufacturing capacity so they could save more money on production. That was their choice. This isn't a case of scarcity of resources. What you aren't accounting for is how the fact that it's easier to get through or from an Apple Store. That is the one big lesson for me in the future. Find some way, some how to get the good deal through the Apple Store. As it is, a new phone will be out before we get this POS.

They actually sent me the email stating it would be 3-4 more weeks, just two days before it would have been 6 weeks of waiting. Never again will I order like this thru sprint. When I ordered my iphone 5 originally, it was thru apples website and I got up at 3am EST(midnight California time) and bought it right when they went on sale, UPS walked my phone to my door on opening day at about 10am. Lesson learned from going through this huge mess. I want to leave Sprint on so many occasions but it's too hard to give up unlimited data.

I basically got the same deal, I was also given the 150 credit and getting "around" 230 for my iphone 5 when i send it in. They already charged me 400 for my 64gb plus on my last bill and given me the 150 credit, so all i'm due is the 230 when i send my phone in. So that is the only reason i did it over the phone was to get that extra 150 credit, which they told me was only available using my business rep.
