(11/7) I went to visit my local corporate store and they had ip6+ in stock 16-64 so I picked up 2 in 64 I know I didn't preorder at all but getting it before those who preordered months before had felt pretty awesome (sorry not trying to seem cocky)

64 GB SG on the way!!!!!

Hey guys. I have some awesome news. I just passed week 5 of waiting for my 64 GB grey 6 plus. I was losing hope on receiving my device by the end of the six weeks, but now it appears it is on its way. When Sprint receives the device at the warehouse, they scan it. When they do, it will appear on your Sprint.com account under the activate new device tab. What that means is it is waiting to be picked up by UPS. I ordered on October 3, so anyone who ordered around that time should check their account online. My new device just appeared today (Saturday.) FINALLY!!! Good luck to all who still are waiting. Check sprint.com. That's the first indicator that your phone is close!

Nope, I called as soon as I got the email and they said it just arrived. Sadly the sprint customer service in the Metro Detroit area is deplorable

Wow. I'm glad you got your device! Just goes to show there is no reason to Sprints shipping. I ordered the same phone way before you. Nothing on my end still. Oh, and it's not just the area you're in, Sprint's customer service is deplorable everywhere

Enjoy your new device!

I had a pre-order from sometime in September for a 64g gold 6+. I don't remember the exact date. I went to the store last week to ask about the status of my order. Rep told me another 1 to 2 weeks. Since my contract was over I cancelled the order and went down the street to T-Mobile. In an hour I walked out with my 64gig gold 6+.

I was mulling over the switch to T-Mobile for a couple years anyway so the extra 2 weeks pushed me into it.

I canceled my order for a iPhone 6 64GB Silver yesterday night because there are multiple stores here in my town that have them in stock. How long does it take for Sprint to update that I don't have a device on order anymore? I heard 24-48 hrs. but does apply over the weekend, too? I would hope tonight (Sat) or tomorrow (Sun) it should be good, but will it likely be Mon or Tuesday instead?

I demand EVERYONE who's going through what I and most people went through with this ridiculous waiting period. CANCEL YOUR ORDER AND TRY YOUR LUCK IN STORES. I waited 5 weeks and had enough. I called 3 stores today for a 64 GB SG and Best Buy had it. He put it on hold for me and now I'm happy as ever. No ******** tracking numbers or anything. I really hope you guys get your phones really soon it's a beautiful device.

The only issue with that is some plans are not accepted at Apple Stores or Best Buys

This is exactly the only reason I am still sitting here waiting, probably till Christmas. For business customers, Sprint is THE one and only authorized dealer. So, on our enterprise account, the essentially $350 bucks they offered me (150 credit plus 200 for my iphone) applied to the $499 contract price for a 6 plus 128g (=$150 for a 6p128g) is not honored anywhere but with Sprint business directly.

The best part is that our rep spun to me point blank that business gets its own, separate inventory. That it tends to ship sooner than other orders because of this. And that...my friends...has turned out to be the crock of s*it I should have known it was. If this is indeed true, it hasn't held true at all in this case.

dang didn't know that about the business plans. And from what i'm hearing even from BB reps is that everyone knows Sprint is getting their shipments in jokingly fashion. Supposedly it's not their fault and it's all apple. They're choosing favorites pretty much (ATT, VZW) as to who gets phones quicker. I'm guessing it's because Sprint offers their phones at lower prices and has the whole unlimited thing going on. Apple feels like they could make more money off Sprint if they played ball

Why isnt everyone buying in-store? I had a SERO plan which doesn't allow me to buy from any other store except Sprint. That limited my options in the beginning as a lot of Apple stores had the phones during launch week. I am not sure why a lot of people are still waiting for Sprint to ship their phones when a lot of retail stores (including sprint stores) seem to have all the phones.

I think it varies for a lot of people. For me personally, the nearest Sprint store is about 4 hours away (8 hours round trip) and it's just a phone. Not something I can really justify driving that far for when I can just wait and let UPS or FedEx bring it to me. And as for the other stores, just simply don't offer anywhere near the deal Sprint did to me online.

How is service ? Sprint takes joy out of owning a smart phone for some.

I hear that a lot too, and it made me nervous before going with Sprint several years ago... But here we have great coverage. Between 30 and 40Mbps download, and a bit over 10Mbps upload during the day according to the Ookla speed test app on my iPhone 6 Plus. That coupled with totally unlimited data, and I can't complain. Never had issues with them when it comes to customer service either. Way less headaches than AT&T when we left them.

I guess it varies a lot depending where you're located though.

They recommended to just go in to get it then preordering due to the fact Apple stopped shipping for sometime

I received my phone on Monday, November 3rd. My apologies for not updating this on the forum nor the spreadsheet. I was just too excited.

What I am thoroughly upset about is that I had to call in order to find out whether the phone was in or not. I didn't get an email indicating there was a tracking number, nor did I get a phone call from the store telling me it was in.

I have no clue when it actually got delivered to the store. Horrendous service that Sprint provides and that seems to be the general consensus here.

I hope you all receive an update, or better yet get your phones as soon as possible.

I ordered my 6+ 64 gb SG online through sprints website on October 6th and just now got my tracking number! It's week 5 for me so I'm happy. Should be here Wednesday. Sorry for those who ordered before me and still haven't received theirs. I couldn't imagine the frustration

Rather confusing situation here. I cancelled my iPhone 6 64GB Silver order Friday night (7OCT14) and was told that it would take 24-48 hours to have it updated in my account to where I could walk into a store and but a phone that a few stores had/have in stock. Yesterday I called Sprint *2 and asked why it was taking so long to have my order cancelled, if the weekend was a time for them not processing cancellation request, or what... I didn't receive a clear answer exactly, but while I was on the phone I felt like it was a decent experience with the Sprint employee. Now today, I wake up and I have an email saying my iPhone will be in the store from which I ordered it from this Thursday. I suppose that means that even though my cancellation request went through on Friday, it didn't get processed fully because my phone WAS actually about to be shipped and therefore no longer cancelable. I guess that's good then... I mean, I want my phone, so yay!

Will keep this thread updated.
