Just an FYI I received my 6+ 64gb space gray yesterday UPS. Ordered on 9/12 around 10:45am EST from the sprint website.
I promise you I couldn't get through on that 800 number, but I did try another sprint# and was eventually given the 5 5 2 choices, I got through to a very serious lady who told me I was absolutely right about the charges on my account... it looks like they let me walk out the door of the store with a free iphone6 because they neglected to set up easy pay, they charged me sales tax and that was the end of it.
She couldn't track my order either because I'd placed it in the store for instore delivery, but the store is about to open in 10 minutes and I'm going to call and read them the riot act and see if I can find out if I really have a 6+ on order and where it might be in the pipeline.
I'm calling them from a non sprint phone because they haven't delivered the 6+ for this line yet, and I can attest that the woman I did get through to was far more capable than anyone else I've talked to at Sprint, she knew what she was doing and she says she's going to call back and make sure everything is cleared up when my first bill hits.

Just got off the phone with the store, no update on my preorder and I hit a brick wall on who to talk to next. This is ridiculous now I really am ready to cancel my service and go crawling back to at&t.
Well, I hope it's soon! But you will forget about all the waiting once you have it in your hands.HOORAY!

ordered iPhone 6+ 16GB Gold (via my employee value plan-mistake #1)-didn't go through til 9/13 around noon. Card was charged fully. No updates on Sprint site-nothing under order status at all.
Went to Idevicechecker.com (I think that's it) and found that they had a Gold 64GB sprint at my local Best Buy (not sure I've even been in a Best Buy for about 7 years)...anyhow, cancelled order, very pleasant gentleman at Best Buy started up my phone, and now I am a happy owner of an iPhone 6+.
i agree with all the resentment, and people having phones before those who preordered. This was the first year I went through the employee plan--normally I'm a midnight orderer. But thankful nonetheless that I was able to get one.
My card was finally just charged!! My order is still "Processing" with a shipping window of 10/13 - 10/20. How long do I have to wait from this point?? Anyone have any idea?
Do not go by that checker. I just called a few it listed as having in stock and they have none so call the store do not go by checker

Has the 16GB SG and 16 Gold moved yet? Nobody with those orders had any update.
