Well it's early yet. Maybe in an hour.

I got an email from Sprint about confirming my work email address - it went from one corporate discount plan to another which technically is a better discount however since I am trying that iPhone for life deal it might not be much of a discount since I was told iPhone for life people weren't actually eligible for a discount. Maybe if I'm on a corporate plan, I just don't know.

No changes on the website as yet but a mysterious phrase under About my Devices says:

"New usage starts in 15 days!" and my bill isn't due until another 8 days. What could this mean?
 
I finally decided to try the 800-211-4727 5, 5, 2 thingy and the number isn't being answered now

That is bull lol i call it all the time. You wait till it says "what would you like to do" in fact here ill call right now and hang up when they answer.

Okay i dialed *2 same as the 800 number just faster and right now it is ringing. It asked for my phone number when asked by the recording. i put it in now it is looking up my account. Now i am on hold at 9:39 and lets see how long before they answer...... I hear music but just got on hold...I sware on my kids life they just answered and i hung up less than a minute.

Such nonsense people saying 5 5 2 does not work. Dial it from your sprint phone. dial star 2 but you have to enter your sprint phone number for it to look up your account and finally it will say "what would you like to do" then you hit 5 then 5 again then 2 if they do not answer in less then 5 minutes that call center gets a mark on there record. So please either do it right or do not bs :)

Does anyone know if the Sprint iPhone 6 is compatible with Verizon?

No its not only will work on sprint. It is cdma like them but not the same band so it will not. Nor will any other carrier phone work on sprint

I promise you I couldn't get through on that 800 number, but I did try another sprint# and was eventually given the 5 5 2 choices, I got through to a very serious lady who told me I was absolutely right about the charges on my account... it looks like they let me walk out the door of the store with a free iphone6 because they neglected to set up easy pay, they charged me sales tax and that was the end of it.

She couldn't track my order either because I'd placed it in the store for instore delivery, but the store is about to open in 10 minutes and I'm going to call and read them the riot act and see if I can find out if I really have a 6+ on order and where it might be in the pipeline.

I'm calling them from a non sprint phone because they haven't delivered the 6+ for this line yet, and I can attest that the woman I did get through to was far more capable than anyone else I've talked to at Sprint, she knew what she was doing and she says she's going to call back and make sure everything is cleared up when my first bill hits.

Just an FYI I received my 6+ 64gb space gray yesterday UPS. Ordered on 9/12 around 10:45am EST from the sprint website.

I know it works cause it is the cancel your service department. They get rated on each call and if you either say they did not answer you or you want to cancel they will die trying to keep you.

When i changed to the plan i am on now i had no use for 2 lines on my account. Both were out of contract so i said just drop those 2 lines.
I said it is not cause i am mad i just do not need them. She begged for 15 minutes and then finally gave me the 5$ month tablet plan and a free tablet and on contract for 2 years i can use that upgrade :)

They will help if you get the prompts right and hit 5 5 2 after you here them say what would you like to do...

Went to Idevicechecker.com (I think that's it) and found that they had a Gold 64GB sprint at my local Best Buy (not sure I've even been in a Best Buy for about 7 years)...anyhow, cancelled order, very pleasant gentleman at Best Buy started up my phone, and now I am a happy owner of an iPhone 6+.

i agree with all the resentment, and people having phones before those who preordered. This was the first year I went through the employee plan--normally I'm a midnight orderer. But thankful nonetheless that I was able to get one.

Here is my question, when you placed your orders, what did ur wait time say?? My order said up to 3 weeks.. Everyone I talk to that got up to 3 weeks, has their phone all ready. Did any of yours say up to 3 weeks. I couldn't get in to the Sprint site and get my order in till 324 am on the 12th. I think before Sprint hands phones out in store, EVERYONE that preordered, should be filled. Sprint has improved in lots of ways, but their preorders have always been a cluster ###k. They are the worst when it comes to keeping you updated after you place an order.
 
My card was finally just charged!! My order is still "Processing" with a shipping window of 10/13 - 10/20. How long do I have to wait from this point?? Anyone have any idea?

You have a shipping window?

I assume you ordered from apple.com and not from sprint. I would wager a guess at sometime between 10/1 and 10/20 because they seem to be a week ahead of shipping windows from what I'm reading, but don't quote me on that because I really don't know.

Of course, calling before you go is definitely something you should do first. I called before going there and made sure how many they had (around noon, wasn't able to go until after work at 6pm) because it takes me a solid 30 minutes to get to that location. But hopefully for the people who basically have no information (like me), this was the next best option.
 
So sprint telesales called me this morning because I left an uncompleted order in my cart. They are saying the stores are back ordered, but telesales is not. She said maximum 3 wks most likely 2 weeks as the have been receiving phones every other week. This is for 64 or 128gb iPhone plus gold.

Same thing that happened to me yesterday, you should receive a tracking number shortly, and you will have your new iPhone by friday.
