I had to go through check upgrade eligibility in the app to get the order through. Just simply buy now shows nothing for 6 plus.
 
Got an order in for my line and my wife's line at AT&T. One at 12:10am PST and the other at 12:21am PST. No email confirmations yet and the order checker isn't showing an order status yet. It says it could take up to 24 hours to show in the system. I didn't get asked anything about the data plan, so hope it is still grandfathered unlimited. I used the full site on Firefox on my Windows PC. I couldn't log into AT&T on my iPhone or my iPad. It said there was a problem with my logon username\pass, but I used the very same on my desktop just fine. Both devices indicated the AT&T website wouldn't allow saved passwords, but I wasn't trying to save them when logging in. Oh well hoping for the best!
 
I got nada everywhere… App store apps load on my phone and iPad, both keep saying ALL models for 6 and 6+ are unavailable, website itself still down. Guess I'll go back to bed and try when I get up for work.
 
Looks like the 6 plus is short supply, i got my order in then refreshed the site, in the UK, the 128gb 6+ is showing 3-4 weeks already in gold and grey. 7-10 weeks in 64gb
 
AT&T 6 plus gold 128 GB successfully ordered through apple store app although it took a few tries. Got my confirmation email from apple so I trust it went through ok. Didn't let me add AppleCare but I'm sure I can during pick up
 
I was able to do it through ATT early. I have a confirmation code but I am worried because I cannot check my order status, it states there is no order. Anyone else have this problem?

Yes... I got a confirmation code but no confirmation email and nothing showing on my account as ordered.
 
Got through on the App Store... First on my iPad, listed all models as unavailable, then ONLY the 128gb. I got desperate and went for it, then the app froze. Every screen had multiple errors. Tried on my phone, better luck, but once through to checkout, it wouldn't let me ship to my current address, freaked, decided to go for ship to store, again told me it had to go to current wireless billing address, freaked again, then it seemingly went through... Now it appears it is shipping to my PO Box, which I thought you couldn't do... Will sort it out tomorrow. Way. Too. Tired. Getting too old for this *****.
 
I occasionally can get through to a certain point with AT&T but it's trying to make me upgrade by switching to NEXT? What the heck? How can I just upgrade with 2-year contract?
 
just for fun checked the hong kong store. Its been live for a while. 128 GB Iphone plus sold out, 64 GB 3-4 weeks. Wow.
 
Managed to get in

Managed to get my phone and my wife's phone ordered. Did it through the Apple store App on iPhone.

I ordered a 128 GB Gold iPhone 6 Plus and my wife's phone will be a 128 GB Silver iPhone 6. App made me do two separate transactions, and I got two separate confirmation emails. I got several errors, and the app wouldn't let me proceed at some points until I backgrounded the app and returned to it. (weird, I know) Once it was in the cart I didn't have any problems.

After placing my order, I got an order number but Verizon did say that due to high demand...it may take up to 24hrs to get the confirmation email. Took about 30 minutes after getting 3-4 errors. Gold 16GB and a case delivery date 9/19. So I got a conf # but no email yet. Got hit with a $42 state tax and $29 verizon upgrade charge. With otter box commuter series case I was out the door with a lovely $309 charge to my vrz bill and a 2 year extension. I still feel like I got hosed for some reason.
