iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Now Available for Pre-Order [Updated]

Is there a numbering system for apple pre order?
I.e. if I played my 6+ order a week ago and I'm given an estimate of 3-4 weeks and someone placed their 6+ order yesterday and are also given an estimate of 3-4 weeks, am I ahead in the queue?

Sure, if you buy it directly from Apple. But I would still check with a different (GSM) SIM card before your return period expires.

The T-Mobile contract-free version sold by Apple (not sold by T-Mobile!) is factory unlocked. Any SIM Card works. It's all over reddit, and probably in some other threads here too.
