This is ridonkulous. The Apple Store website won't load, the app error's out and I get some kind of weird error message on Verizon's page.

Nothing works, I'm about ready to give up - I have to work in 7hrs 19mins. :mad:
 
This is annoying. I can get through on my phone app but I am paying with an apple gift card and it won't give me that option to pay at checkout!
 
Website down - App up in UK

The website is still down but I've managed to order my iPhone 6 via the app in the UK. It took a while and a couple of timeout type errors but it got there eventually and I've got my order number :D
 
The website is still down for me, but my brother was able to order one for me since he works for a large tech company in SF and used his VPN. They probably have a direct link to Apple because he ordered it within a few seconds... so try a VPN if you can't get through
 
Apple store still down and was getting nowhere with the app. Went to AT&T site and was able to order a 64GB space gray 6 and a 64GB silver 6.

These are the first iPhones I've ever bought from AT&T. In the past Apple always seemed to work better and AT&T's site was useless. Just the opposite this time.
 
Finally got mine ordered...

through AT&T's website. Got a confirmation email (that said 14-21 days which I think is standard)

I got the app to work briefly but it would only let me order the 6 Plus Silver 128gb. Thank god (Thor) I didn't have to got with that one ( I just deleted it from my cart if anyone wants it...)

UK website loaded ok, phone ordered, still saying 19/09 for delivery. All very smooth for me I'm afraid.

Ordered a silver 128gb 6 from AT&T at 3:03am. Got a confirmation page with Web order ID #, but no e-mail or pre-authorization on my AmEx yet...getting a little white knuckled over here and questioning whether it really went through...
 
Ordered mine from my iPhone App.
6+ 128G Space Gray. I got my email from Apple saying processing order, when I looked at it I had clicked on the email from Sept 14th 2012.... I jumped when it said thanks for your iPhone 5 order! LOL!

Not sure. I got an order #, but now AT&T is telling me I don't have an order. :mad:

Weird.. I got my e-mail confirmation and all. I first went on their website and logged on like 10 minutes before midnight and got some count down saying I was a little bit early. "You're in the right place, but you're a little early" or something like that. I went to the device page directly and I was able to pre-order early. I got through with the entire process at 11:58 PST, which is 3 minutes before they officially opened for pre-orders, so I can't imagine any possible way that my order was a later order of any sort, so how can the shipping date be pushed back so far? I am hoping it's a mess up on their part and it will actually come next friday like it should, especially since it does say "first come, first serve"
 
PEOPLE USE THE APPLE STORE APP ON YOUR PHONE!

I went this route and had some issues but ultimately got my order placed for a 4.7 Apace Grey 64gb
 
Goal!!!

I finially was able to order using Safari on my 5S several minutes after midnight.

Funny, NONE of my browers worked including the apple store app (which came through for my 5S order)

I basically "rinse and repeat"'d the following: (while clearing cache/refreshing/rebooting)

1 - Desktop IE
2 - Desktop Firefox
3 - Apple store app on iphone
4 - Safari on ipad air
5 - Safari on wife's ipad
After midnight when the above wasn't working/clearing cache?!
3 - MacBook pro Firefox
4 - MacBook pro Safari
5 - Safari on iPhone and FINALLY the apple store loaded and I ordered

It's funny but after the order I went back to the other sites and they still didn't load either.
