iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Now Available for Pre-Order [Updated]

finally made it through

Apple Store app on iPhone 5
iPhone 6
64GB
Space Grey
Email and App both confirmed 9/19 delivery

Got errors every time I tried to go to the next steps, but after one or two tries per, it eventually went through.

I had given up hope, and was only trying one last time before going back to sleep… Keep trying and good luck!!
 
Most models went to 3-4 weeks within 10 mins here in UK

Some of the lower capacity 16gb iPhone 6 are available for launch day tho.


My local store sold out of all the iPhone 6+ before any of the colour/size combinations showed as unavailable in the iPhone 6. Maybe thats a stock allocation thing though.

Ordered through AT&T with no problem. But looks like I got screwed with the estimated delivery date of 10.2
I ordered 10 minutes before it was suppose to launch too.. bummer

I just ordered on Verizon. 6 64gb space grey. Order confirmation page said delivery 9/19. I had no problem accessing the site. My problem is that I have a plan that is unlimited talk, text and 2gb data for 60. It even stated that was what my current plan is BUT it still made me choose a data plan. I went ahead and just chose the 2gb/$30 to get the phone ordered and just hope to get it straightened out later. I will later this morning. No email yet.

If you are trying to upgrade an ATT iPhone that you have in your hand…

Use that iPhone!

Turn off the wifi on that iPhone, so that you're using ATT's LTE data network!

Launch the Apple Store app, and proceed from there.

That worked for me. You get to a point where it asks you if you want to upgrade THIS phone, you say yes, then the rest of the process goes right through.

At about 3:50AM I placed the order this way to upgrade my ATT iPhone. Chose to pick it up at an Apple store. Says it will be available on 9/19. Got the order email receipt. Says they'll send another email to confirm when it's ready for pickup.

Verizon, yes; Apple, no

I never could get either the Apple store site or the iOS app to go through, but Verizon took my order without even any substantial delays. We'll see what the e-mail confirmation says (once it arrives).
 
I finally ordered a 6+ 64gb space gray and a 6 64gb space gray ATT through the apple store iOS app.

First it was saying unavailable then I kept killing the app and reloading till it finally said available and I ordered. Both are being delivered on 9/19.

The ATT site said the 6+ ships in 14-21 days so I skipped it immediately.

You mean, can you use hers? Yes. Of course you can. AT&T doesn't care. Just don't turn it on without calling them to have them assign that phone and sim to your phone line.

Safari still not loading site. Firefox worked fine. In Canada not sure whats up with that

There is a charge for next and it's your tax plus first installment payment. $55.15 or something like that my receipt said. I do have a 1.00 pending in chase though. I order through AT&T and apple will cancel whoever is the slowest.
 
"14-21 days" better be some special AT&T code for "Will be delivered on september 19th" or there will be hell to pay!

Got mine! I used the iOS app and it finally went through. Showed 7-10 bus Days but when I went to check out, I selected Pickup and the second store I tried I was able to pick up from. I got my confirmation email and everything. Bed time!

How did you get this to work? I am able to shop the UK store but as soon as I try to go back to the US Store, it says it's down.

ATT seems to have a self queue set up on their web store. It finally opened up a slot (?) and made it through very quickly with no lag.
My fifth rodeo, ATT seems to win this round. Hard to believe Apple can't their s417 together. 4:10 still down, and yes that includes IE, Safari, Chrome with cache clears.
 
I somehow managed to get an iPhone 6 Plus 64Gb Space Gray through the iPhone Apple Store App. $425 after taxes. I still can't believe I bought it...I wasn't 100% on the iPhone 6+...hope I don't regret it!
