Yeah... the app kept showing me all sorts of weird stuff for what was available.
Stuff would appear, then disappear.
Odd.
I got mine ordered, but this is the first year that the app has been wonky.
This is fubar BS at this point. Apple store has never been available for over 70 minutes; finally got through to AT&T and iPhone 6 Gold 64GB will be delivered 9/19 but iPhone 6+ 128GB space gray is 14-21 days just to be shipped - utter BS.

I refuse to do Next. If I did the math right (same as you, I usually skip the S models), it comes out to be another 100-150 MORE than just buying a 2-year contract.
I had to use AT&T site. Apple it seems ran out of the space grays. Or maybe that was just a glitch? It showed white still available.
As a UK user, that was a complete and utter fiasco.

please only post if you was able to order from the apple.com site we know that it works for att and verizon.com and if your in the US
Was on the iPhone app. Everything said unavailable. Then all of a sudden I got a popup which said "An iPhone has been reserved for you" with a reservation number. I literally didn't click anything. Checked AT&T website and I appear to have a 128GB 6 Gray reserved, to be delivered 9/19. Anyone else have this happen? Apparently I have to pay when Apple can reach AT&T?

Yes, Apple Store App was different on iPad and iPhone. iPhone was a no go, never got continue button. Went to the iPad app and got the continue button to complete my iPhone 6 64Gb Space Gray. Got an "order processing" email and everything.

Got onto Verizon a few minutes before 3rd and grabbed a 64GB 6 in gold for me and a 64GB 6+ in space gray for my fiance at full price. The website was smooth and had no issues. Got the 64GB phones because Verizon said 16GB wouldn't arrive until October 14th while the 64GB in both will be here on the 19th. Got a confirmation# but no email yet. Website said it could take 24 hours. My Amex is showing a pending charge for $1 from them though so I think I'm good to go. Good luck to everyone still ordering! Apple's store never came up for us.
I'd like to know the same please. Been waiting to order the iPhone 6 64 space grey and they told me on the phone I can order it online at 3am, then I try to call them and they're out of office...

On Canada app, only silver is available. Oddly, only on my iPhone and not iPad. I haven't seen space grey appear yet. Either sold out instantly or stock being withheld.
If it directs you to a Next upgrade, you're not eligible for a standard 2 year renewal upgrade.

Even if model, size, and color is not available, keep cycling with different color and size. It will come up. Verification with ATT took longest.

Ok somehow was able to place an order on ATT at 11:47 received confirmation and order number. Account was charged and verified but it gave me a 10/2-10/13 delivery date? Did they sell out that quick of the 6plus? Hope the status date for deliver changes to the 19th.

apple store is still down on the web! WTF?! never had this issue! tried the app and got to the last part where it confirms my credit card and then it tells me there is is some issue and that i will know if it worked if i get an email. i saw no email so i hammered it and kept getting the same error... so i ordered via att which worked like a charm... cept it says 14-21 business days
So it appears that apple is sold out according to the app yet the store has never opened in the browser world....
