Folks who ordered through AT&T and did not get a confirmation email, wait a little bit longer. It will come through for sure. I just received one confirmation email for my wife's upgrade. It took roughly 1 hour to receive it for me. Here's proof:

Same for me. Must be a AT&T Premier thing. Ordered at 3:01 Eastern got my email at 4:30 Eastern.
 
I managed to buy this in the German Apple Online Store:

* 64 GByte iPhone 6 SpaceGray on 9/19
* 64 GByte iPhone 6 Gold on 9/19
* 128 Gbyte iPhone 6+ Silver end of September

i have two iphone still under 2 years contract, iphone 5 will end on Oct 12, 2014, and iphone 5s will end on Sep 20, 2015. today i saw that both of my phones are eligible update to NEXT program, so i did it and pre-ordered two iphone 6 to for my lines ( from ATT website). my questions are:

- when i get the new iphone 6 and activate them, how to deal with my old phones ( i want to keep them for my parents)? wait for months when the contract ends and to unlock them? or can i request to unlock them right after i got my new iphone 6? any termination fee?

- i know i will pay AT&T installments fees monthly for the new iphone 6, and will pay the package service fee (2GB data paln) monthly, and is there still any fee for my old iphone 5?

I'm not actually buying an iPhone 6 but I went to have a look. UK store seems to be full of stock! :D

I guess the craze has worn off here a bit.
 
An hour and a half after the store reopened, I finally got every step of the way - shipping 3-4 weeks! And it's 6:30pm 12 Sep here in Australia.

I've been trying since midnight our time. Eventually the word came midnight Cupertino time - 5pm our time.

Now I can get some sleep, knowing not being able to stand in line, I can relax and one day this year, it'll show up.

Again, I'm in the boat of people waiting on an email from Verizon, but got through. I was probably one of the first ones, and the confirmation webpage says delivery by 9/19. I can't check to see if I have preauth charges right now. I won't believe it until I get the email; I'll call verizon when they open at 6. Time to get 2 hours of sleep now. I'll update you all in the morning.

Same boat, here. By the way, Verizon is available by the phone now, but it's not easy to get to them. I forgot which options I selected on the phone system, but it was definitely a sales rep and not some emergency tech or anything.
 
Congrats, you must have got in right at the very second it began. Now the site shows 10/14 for everything.

Well I know a lot of people on here went to apples site but that was down. I went straight to Verizon. Ordered and logged out. The entire process took about 10mins, tops. Same thing I did last year for the 5S
 
Ordered three iPhone+ using apple.com and got email confirmations and bank authorizations on my Amex as well.
Time for sleep!!!

Apple really does need to do a better job with these types of preorders

i ordered through ATT Premier but have not received an e-mail address :/ anybody else on the same boat?
 
I just can't ****ing understand the problem. Still "Cant connect to your wireless carrier" after 45 minutes. The Verizon site is not down. This is amateur and ridiculous.
 
Launch Day

Im hoping they have a set amount that are designated for the line on launch day. No way they are going to sell out on preorders and not have people line up
 
I guess the only good news for people trying to buy the Tmobile version is it can't be sold out yet, as no one has been able to order one. Wondering how long I should keep waiting, almost 5am here....

Keep in mind that if you upgrade in 12 or 18 months (whichever you choose), you will have to return the iPhone to AT&T. You'll have to pay for 20 months under the Next 12 program to own the iPhone. I think the 18 month plan must have 24 payments to own the phone.
 
Finally!

After 1h39 minutes of refreshing Safari, while logging on the App Store on my iPad and iPhone many times, I got through on my iPhone. Delivery on sept 19th.

I'm from Montreal, Canada.

It seems people who ordered from At&t and got the regular 6 are getting them on the 19th. And people who ordered the 6 plus got the same email and shipping date i got. I was shocked, seeing that i basically ordered mine at 2:40 am lol. Shortage of the 6 plus?:eek:
 
Went on ATT at 12, I didnt bother with the apple site because thats the first place everyone will go. ATT site page loaded with no delays, I had to do a share upgrade with my other line. Everything was completed in less than two minutes. I got exited and check my email for the confirmation but when I switch back to safari the paged refreshed so I lost my reference number. Damn iphone 4s with its damn 512mb memory. When i bought the 64gb 6+ it said shipping was 7-10 days. My card got charge so I hope to get a email soon with a more accurate date.
 
Sorry, I take it back, the 6+ has a shipping time of October for most models in the UK.
 
for anyone that got an email that say's you'll get an email to complete you're order:

I'm interpreting this as carrier websites are overloaded with respect to communicating through Apple's store. Apple is frantically trying to continue to allow as many orders as possible during this chaotic frenzy ... so they gave you an email option from Apple to complete your order later (after carrier/Apple communication issues are resolved).

I'm sure they'll honor you're place in line (I hope).
this has nothing to do with ordering through the carrier site directly.
