give us an update on that case when you get it. I'm looking for something similar.

Will do. It's supposed to be shipped out tomorrow. I plan on making the belt clip or kickstand into a tripod mount, depending which is more practical. A Matin Tripod Bushing - Enlarging 1/4"-20 Screw to 3/8"-16 Size will be embedded into the plastic. Low profile.

I actually returned my online purchase for my 6 plus. Then I went to target and bought a 6.

Is that it? You exchanged for #bendgate?
Sorry to hear that. I have my Plus in my pocket all the time, no bending. As many have stateth, ye issue be overblown. It probably wouldn't have happened to you either.

I mean I tend to wear slim style pants most of the time and while the bending might not have been an issue, the size in my pockets was. It was uncomfortable for me. Great phone though

Got my 6+ on friday and I absolutely love it!
I just hope developers will update their apps soon... Apps that are not updated look like they are made for old people :D

Is there a thread where all updated apps are listed?

I upgraded from the 5 and went with the Space Grey 6. The increase in size is taking some getting use to me, but I like it. Love the extra horsepower and camera improvements. Also, really like the slim design and the curved glass. I bought an awesome case on Amazon for less than $10-. It's clear and hardly adds any weight or size to the phone. It also has port covers.

I'm an old people! :) My 6+ {from 5) is starting to look small. The 5 looks like a postage stamp, now! I'll be patient for app updates.

The 6 is the best phone I've ever used and it's not close. This baby is awesome and runs iOS 8 buttery smooth. Everything on this phone works great. I realize some people have some issues but if you do return the phone and get a new one. You can expect perfection on this phone because they do exist.

Yeah I agree 100%, only one gripe with it though is that alot of apps still havent been updated yet for the new phones, but thats coming real soon and fast

The perfect protection...

Fisherman's vest, around $20.00 at WalMart... iPhone 6 Plus fits comfortably in one of four oversized pockets.

Woot finally got my phone and I couldn't be more excited. It's huge with the spigen case on it but I'll definitely get used to it.

just fondled a 6 and a 6+ at a local store - both very nice.

i was surprised that the 6+ was far smaller than i expected (everybody was calling it huge...). sure, it's much bigger than my 4, but still much smaller than an ipad mini. i had no problems reaching the upper left corner with my thumb, while holding it in the right hand. (with only slightly larger than average male hands).

also the protruding lens is a non-issue (very small protrusion), and the antenna bands are not as ugly as i imagined from seeing them on photos.

you have to change your grip if you want to press the volume button while pressing the standby button if you're right-handed - so that's also no problem (the phones are big enough so you rest your fingers below the volume buttons - and the buttons do by far not need that much force that you have to apply strong counter-pressure on the exact opposite side - which, btw. isn't a problem either, as the buttons are not exactly opposite and the volume buttons are a bit recessed - i had no problem pressing the standby-button while resting my fingers on the volume buttons either ).

and they didn't bend from a reasonable applied force :)

so, all in all, i was pleasantly surprised by them. any "flaw" i more or less took for granted after reading multiple reports turned out to be grossly exaggerated.

This bending BS has overblown with the help of interested parties (Samsung, HTC, LG etc etc)

6+ / Space Gray / 128GB - first impressions

Coming from a iPhone 5 here, and I was a bit overwhelmed at the size of this thing (TWSS), but quickly got accustomed to it.

My hands aren't NBA-size so I find myself having to 2-hand it at times, so to speak.

I bought a Case-mate Tough Case for the grip and it was what I used on my iPhone 5 and does the job really well. I'm concerned a bit now that this guy weighs substantially more than the 5, but we'll see. The case adds a bit more to the size but i'll gladly sacrifice that to increase my odds on surviving a drop.

As with all new phones, it's snappy and rarely have I had any lag/stutter. I'm digging the fingerprint ID login a lot so kudos to Apple for emphasizing security.

My two favorite features:
1. Awesome battery life! I'm charging every 2 days now vs every day. That's the reason I went w/ the Plus. If the standard 6 had this battery life, I probably would have just bought the 6.

2. Pictures are 'amazing'. I love the depth and color of all the shots I've taken so far. We'll see what I get when i'm out taking 'nature shots' of any sort...

All in all, great phone! Sure I paid $100 more than 2 years ago but with the improved hardware and the software that's included (productivity apps, etc.), I think it's well worth it. I don't think i'll need an iPad in any capacity with having this.

Sure i'm walking around w/ nearly $1K in my pockets, but I think i'll be getting my money's worth for the next couple of years.

Got the 6+ delivered yesterday afternoon. I have smaller man hands and the phone is just too unwieldy IMO. I didn't realize how much I actually use my 5s with one hand until I tried using the 6+. Constant readjusting to tap things, etc. The screen itself is awesome and typing is great but I just can't get down with it. Also, I like to keep my phone in my front pocket of khaki's and it's too bulky for me. I normally wear a certain style of old navy brand khaki's and they have shallow pockets to begin with. I really wanted to like it but I can't. Ordered the 6 to replace it. I've already used one(wife has it) and it's much more usable for me. AGAIN JUST MY OPINION.

How many of you think a case is necessary for the 6 as I have a 5c at the moment and never use a case on it and love not using one and I really don't want to when I get my 6, whats you guys opinion?
