Guy is definitely persistent. :) I'd give him that.

I don't get why there is any continued debate on this at all. I'm sure statistics would prove that women gravitate more to the girly colors of white and gold than men do. Hell, just look around you and tell me what color iphones you see people using if you don't believe me.

All kinds of color combinations by all kinds of people.

In my area, suburbs of SoCal, a lot of men have white cell phones. So what's your point? What are you gaining from this? I take it you're insecure about your masculinity.

I am a guy and using iPhone 6+ gold. Used 5 and 5s in black and space grey. So bought gold this time. My wife has 5s gold as well.

You are the one mate, you are the one labelling the most common colours as gender exclusive ( but hey ho, it's OK to cross use them since now we live in 21'st century right? ) Seriously man, black and white are no gender exclusive. I would have probably agreed if it was Pink, Purple or something like that.

Who said they are gender "exclusive"? Why do you people keeping using this word?

I'm saying that white is a girly color for an iphone, and black/space gray is a manly color -- and I'm quite sure buyer statistics would back me up on this. Why the continued discussion of the obvious? I've also said ten times now that men should be allowed to buy the girly colors if they want to, and yet you folks still persist in trying to find fault with something I'm saying.

Probably because it's not obvious despite some people (mistakingly) thinking that it somehow is.

People keep using the phrase 'gender exclusive' because you repeatedly keep suggesting white is girly and black is manly. This is your opinion and is not backed up with any fact whatsoever. Both colour options are popular among males and females around the world whether you are willing to accept that or not. It has nothing to do with letting men choose girly colours because neither is a girly colour. You are wrong and only saying it to provoke a reaction which adds nothing of value here at all.

Getting back on topic...

Getting back on topic...

It's been about 2 weeks since I've gotten my iPhone 6+, and have been very happy with the battery life. I initially had a 6 from launch, but ended up switching to the 6+ because for the amount of time I use my phone for work, I needed to charge by early evening.

Now, with the 6+, I can use my phone at 7 am one day, and by the next day around 3 pm, I would still be at about 30-40% depending on my usage.

I can still use the 6+ even though I consider my hands to be on the smaller-average side. I just had to change the way I would hold the phone as I would before with my 5s.

Definitely no regrets going to the 6+ and I just wish I gotten it the first go around.

Had the 6+ 64GB SG for about two weeks now, first iPhone and i'm extremely impressed.

The size is damn near perfect for my usage. One of the reasons why i've never even considered an iPhone previously was because they were too small for me to really enjoy using it for anything but its call features and a few games. At this size, reading is more comfortable, typing is more comfortable, browsing etc and having that extra real estate for everything is just a dream. ergonomically i can't say i have any complaints.

Camera and speakers are great and Battery life is superb, an absolute class above anything i've used previously and charging is also quite quick.

Overall after the iPad Air and iPod Touch 5 which felt like duds from the get go, it seems like this is third times the charm for me. My biggest complaint would be the Gig of RAM but outside some app crashes, i cant say its had any great affect on me.

Received my 6 plus today, overnight shipping, was really surprised I got it so soon since I only ordered on the 16th. Anyhow got it set up white 128gb, Touch ID worked great. My debit card does not support apple pay yet. Sound quality is pretty good on par with my lumia, maybe a bit fuller. I notice a big difference between the lossless I've put on the phone, and may collection streamed via Amazon, so glad I got the extra space, screen quality is good, the 1520's screen seemed a bit more vivid, but it had color profiles and I had it set that way, the pluses screen seems pretty accurate. Haven't tried the camera yet.

But it is obvious. Just look around you. You will find women generally favor white phones and guys generally favor black phone.

People keep using the phrase 'gender exclusive' because you repeatedly keep suggesting white is girly and black is manly. This is your opinion and is not backed up with any fact whatsoever.

But there are facts to back it up, females prefence for white and males preference for black.

I realize you folks don't want to admit certain things, but I don't understand why. Why ignore the truth?

And again it's not obvious or factual. As various others have pointed out, all kinds of people have phones (and other things) of all kinds of colors. Not willing to see that or just ignoring that doesn't mean that that's not the reality. But again, this doesn't really have much to do with the topic of the thread, so no need to keep going (especially when reality is being ignored and thus not much would be accomplished from discussing it further).

[MOD NOTE]
Please stay on topic. This thread is not about gender and phone colors, but rather first impressions. We've gone off the bunny trail in regards to phone colors. Lets get back on track

Omg are we still on this?! Just for the record, I'm a woman and I prefer black phones.

Anyway, back on topic. Love the iPhone 6. Have had it since the end of September and I still love it. Before I bought this I was debating if I should've bought the 5s because it had more space but cost less, I noticed that a lot of people were complaining about battery life and countless bugs, so I decided to just get the 6. Battery life is pretty awesome for me and Apple Pay is great to except I haven't got to really use it to its full potential. Have to find a place that takes debit Mastercard. I haven't experienced any real bugs like other people have experienced and XLTE works great. I had the horrible S3 so I'm used to calling people and using the Internet at the same time. Overall a great experience with the iP6.

Got the 6+ about 10 days ago, loved everything about except how it felt in my hands, it always felt awkward both two handed and one handed, I just could not see myself going two years with a fantastic phone that felt weird in my hands.

Like many articles have said, it is how it works fou YOU and no one else. 5 minutes playing with the 6+ in the Apple Store gives you a sense of what it is like, but not enough to determine if it is right for you.

Thank goodness for the 14 day return period, as I just exchanged the 6+ for a 6 today and it just feels good and right in my hands. I really wanted to love the 6+ and the many features it has over the 6 (battery life, screen real estate, split screen on some apps ETC) but even all of that was not enough for me to keep the 6+ as it just did not feel right to me using one or both hands.

I read an article a few weeks ago and it said the 6+ works as a phone and a tablet, but it excels at neither. Point being, it is awkward to use a a phone and it is ok as a tablet, but it is NO iPad air 2.

I really struggled with my decision and knew I would have 2nd guessed my decision if I had just gotten the 6 to begin with. Really glad I was able to use the 6 plus and come to solid decision based on my needs and feel in my hand(s). I also realized that I use my phone one handed a lot more than I thiught.

Good luck to those still trying to decide.

Well the 6 is still a awesome device so good for u. My wife has the 64GB gold 6, and she loves it. I got to play with it when she got it in the mail, on 10/7 and it was a joy to use. Receive my 64GB SG 6+ on 10/16 it took a few days getting use to, being that we both are coming form the 4S. But after a week with my 6+ I have gotten use to it, and using it is an amazing experience for sure. Some time it would try to use my wife 6, but even her phone seems small to me. So I would revert back to my 6+ right away. At the end of the day they are both great devices and u can't go wrong with either.

After two months with the 6 plus I'm very happy with it.

I no long bring my iPad to places I have to wait, like doctors offices. I can do all the reading and web surfing on my phone. Also, the screen is bigger and better than the GPS I had been using in my car. So goodbye GPS.

It just barely fits in the pocket of my jeans. That's the only drawback.

Bottom line: I'm glad I got the plus instead of the 6.

Same here I rearly use my iPad any more I guest my 6+ takes the place of my iPad, it's mostly my 6+ and my Mac now. My 11year old is using my iPad latey I think it s safe to say it's hers now? It is just easier for me to carry my 6+ when before it was my 4S and my iPad, I am really enjoying my 6+.

Same. 6 felt so tiny. Now I've adjusted to it. I would not mind Apple shaving a bit more of the bezel to make it even smaller and thinner and lighter. Awesome phone.

Any thinner and this thing will bend just buy picking it up or setting it down.

I think there is no question that the future iPhone's will be thinner and less bezels. They will find away of overcoming any bending issues with flexible materials, etc.

I'd like to know when Apple plans on ridding the home button and implementing Touch ID into the the screen. I'm confident that will happen at some point. For now I'm hoping Apple skips the 6(S) variant next year and goes to the iPhone 7 with less chin on the top and button especially for the Plus version.
