walked into the At&t store in Sandy Utah. Went to transfer my line to my brother's account. ended up buying the 6 plus. LOVING it. its simply awesome.
Sheel's, AT&T, and great burritos. Nice to see another local. Oh and my 6+ rocks. I'm beginning to get bored with it, nasty sickness.

Good one! No. I can not. They seem like the type of who would go for manly colors, but then, they are from a long time ago. Today, metrosexuals and other free-thinking males who choose girly colors will not be judged. Society is better for it, too. We should be accepting of such things, not condemning them.

You mean accepting like not labelling neutral colours as gender exclusive?

You strike me as somebody who has to give cloaked derogatory labels to things in order to feel secure yourself. It might be high time you practised what you preach and enjoy your device for what it is.

Yall really getting into a heated argument about whether having a vagina or a penis is more appropriate for a white phone or a black phone....... There's a war in Gaza.

I'm disappointed with iPhone 6. First of all I'm disappointed with the design of new iPhone. If Steve Jobs saw it he would fire all designers on the same day. After Steve's death - design of Apple products ceased to be outstanding. I'm sure that now iPhone could be easily mixed up with Samsung phone and vice versa. It was impossible with old versions of iPhone.
Except that Jobs already lined up and approved the designs and overall features of various products for a few years beyond him passing away. These "if Steve was alive" rhetorical arguments are just that, nothing more.

Really like the 6+ so far. In fact, I enjoy the big screen more than I thought it would. Reading books on it is much better than on my 5. I know, I know, kinda obvious that would be the case, but still, experiencing it first hand is great. About my only complaint is that the wi-fi isn't connecting as well as, say, my iPad does.

Motorola makes the Droid for those social lumps that connect color and gender. Do you own a Droid?

Nice cut and paste... I thought the lawsuit against Samsung was for older models. Is it me or is there a influx of banned members registering to share their "opinions"

I think the product design of the iPhone has improved since the iPhone 4 so I don't know what you are seeing that I am not? How much of Steve's input still being used is unknown but I think the fact demand has increased and sales are still breaking previous records speak for themselves. If you are disappointed then fair enough, I hope you are happy with the alternative you have found. That is what its all about in any case.

[MOD NOTE]
Lets get back on topic, this thread is about first impressions not android phones, or anything else.

It doesn't matter. I'm sure that these designs were reviewed and revised many times. When Jobs was live his approach to products that Apple produce was a big trouble for his investors and shareholders. They felt relieved when they were given a chance to produce standard phones without Steve's shticks and still make money. They aren't worried about uniqueness of Apple products. As a result we see the iPhone 6.
And the iPhone 6 is perfectly fine and lives up to the iPhone name. Just because some might not like it, as there were who didn't like the iPhone 5 design, and as there were that didn't like the iPhone 4 design, as there were who didn't like the iPhone 3 design, etc. doesn't mean that there's actually anything wrong with it or that it somehow doesn't represent the brand well.

Got a fantastic case for my iPhone 6 Plus today, the BookBook. What's different this time is that it comes as a two piece so you can detach it when needed. The quality of the leather is amazing. Colors aren't gender exclusive. Men can use girly colors, girls can use manly colors. Who cares?

Steve Jobs would be disappointed? Well, I'm disappointed in him for all the stupid designs and design flaws that went into all of the iphones.

I have an iphone because I like it's reliability and predictability. But other than that, it's got a TON of flaws Androids do not.

If colors aren't "gender exclusive", how can there be "girly colors" or "manly colors" over just plain "colors"? In any case, that's more of a rhetorical question, and not really on-topic given what this thread is about.

If that isn't a massive contradiction I really don't know what is? lol

So are there any other circumstances where white isn't perceived as girly and black isn't perceived as masculine? My wife wear black outfits occasionally and my car is white when it is clean, so does this differ depending on which forum the individual is trying to tease?

My wife says white is femine In certain things. Phones, watches.

Of course it is. She is right. White may not be feminine for wall color paint or many other things, but it is for things like iphone. Your wife has common sense and understands things. Now, this doesn't mean guys can't choose the girly colors and vice versa, it's just telling it like it is.

Hey there. First time Apple user here. I have always owned different phones like Motorola, Samsung, etc. I recently had a LG G3 but the phone was laggy and the touchscreen pretty much stopped working. When I went to get it fixed/replaced they said the touchscreens are an issue with the G2/G3 phones. My phone was only about 3 months old too. I figured I didn't want to go through with that again so I decided to order the iPhone 6 64GB SG color. I have always had problems with different phones. Motorola, the charging port would always break after about 4-6 months. I didn't really have any problems with my Galaxy S4, it just became slow after awhile. They come loaded with a bunch of crap that you can't uninstall yourself unless you root the phone.

Just got the phone today and right off the back I loved how the phone was the perfect size. I like holding phones in one hand and being able to type on the keyboard. My LG G3 was hard to hold because it was wide and I could never be able to hit the keys on the left side. A,Q, Z etc. I can hold the iPhone 6 in my right hand and type without any trouble. One of the main reasons why I didn't get the iPhone 6+

I love the TouchID fingerprint sensor. So easy to unlock your phone! It's a plus that they ask for the fingerprint to download/buy items in the App store and it only takes about a half second to place your finger on the button and it registers.

The virtual keyboard is so much better than what I had on the G3. There was no way to calibrate the keyboard on my G3 and it was always off when typing. The keyboard on the iPhone 6 is pretty much dead on. I was kind of worried how typing on it would be because of it's smaller size, and it's much better than I expected.

With my Beats headphones and the LG G3 phone, the headphone volume wouldn't go as loud as I wanted them too and I couldn't use the volume control on the cord. With the iPhone 6 the volume is louder and I can control the volume.

Oh and the LG G3 home/power button is on the back of the phone along with the volume controls. It's annoying and I have no clue why they put them in that location.

Only negative thing I can say is that I don't think the phone came with instructions. I actually just saw on the a sheet that came with the phone that you can download the guide online so I will have to go check that out.

It's possible that Android lost a member and Apple gained one haha.
