I really wish it would stay square because more than 80% of the time, when the flashlight option is on, the phone is lying on its side. It's just so much easier that way.

Note: Regardless of shape, the i6 will be flawless in design and perfromance, YMMV :apple:

Looks ridiculous. Apple need to ship some kind of case on it to stop those bits flapping about.

lololol - best comment here so far. :apple:

Tell me you are joking? Bits flapping about? You think these things are just going to be thrown on top of each other? Have you ever even seen phone parts before? So many questions I have for you

seriously - you need to lighten up. it's a joke!

Getting excited - the iphone parts look sexy.

Where is the person to say fake?!

So they have the front, the housing and the buttons.

Why don' t they show the entire iphone 6?
Should not be difficult to put all these things together and show the final design.

Look at how close the ear piece speaker is to the display, when compared to the iPhone 5s. This clearly means less bezel on top (and most likely also on the bottom).

I was thinking the same thing. The home button looks VERY close to the edge of the front panel. The 5 and 5S button is close but this does look closer. The top bezel also looks shorter as well... maybe about half the size. That would certainly be a welcomed change.

I like the way Motorola handles their top and bottom bezels. Slim and to the point.

Sorry about the ****** image. If you can't read the caption, it says, "From this photo, it seems clear that the entire screen is capable of holding a bit of liquid whilst laying on a flat surface. It appears that the edge of the screen rises first and then tapers to meet flush with the rounded edges of the body. Cool."

Nope. Just trick of the light.

Steve would've never allowed this.

Woah! Those photos were sexy! Now- we need a leak of the backplate finished to that standard... I think we should get a leak of a fully assembled model towards the end of the month! ;)

Also, does anyone know if the backplate for the 'Space Gray' iPhone 6 has leaked yet? I'd love to see what it looks like.

You can see it on the opening for the home button too. The home button goes all the way to the edge of the front piece.

No sapphire is stronger due to 0 micro fractures in the panel. For example any other glass including gorilla glass scratches without too much trouble, and those are essentially micro fractures. If they use sapphire on the outside as a layer it could be stronger all around.

But it's also more brittle

So which effect wins?

I like the way the camera is back to the left of the earpiece like the iPhone 4.

I want to see the screen assembly installed in the housing that the same people also leaked.

Looks like its still above it to me....

Or am I looking at sensors? Would make sense to move it back to the side in order to cut down on the bezel.

Leave him alone, plenty of people put in every single Apple device they own in their signature, all he's doing is signing off with the initial of his name. I know which of the two is more annoying and self absorbed.

That hurts...

People list their devices here because it's recommended in the signature section by the board owners lol. It gives others context around which apple products you work with and don't.

And now I will do both :D

Yeah, I first noticed the bottom home button. Look at how much closer it is to the edge of the glass than current. And once I read what you said - I looked at the top and you're right. I personally don't need a screen bigger than 4"... but if they can reduce the wasted bezel space a decent amount - I'll take it.
