iPhone 6 Plus is masterpiece and masterstroke of genius design

Yes, and what's wrong with that? The iPhone 6/Plus is an elegant piece of art.

Apple has always led the pack with new and different design ideas and the naysayers don't shut up until every other oem has copied a piece of it for their own upcoming releases.

I have an HTC One M8, I have used it since it's release in March, and it is the best Android phone on the market, heck, for me it's better than the 5 and 5s. But right now nothing comes close to the iPhone 6.

Oh, and for the other dude, ask how many people actually use the IR zapper, it's a novelty that is more fun to set up than actually use. Ok, ok I've used it half a dozen times, but the FM radio, seriously? ;)

It's a nice product, sure, but it's not THAT nice. Sheesh. Get a grip.

Perspective is a wonderful thing.

I own all major cell phones, it's a hobby of mine. I've used/use iPhones, Blackberry, Android... Apple, HTC, Samsung, LG, etc.

There is no loyality in my blood. I buy and use what I like.

The iPhone 6 is a great product, but it's not the best. There is no "best". It's whatever works for you. It simply can't be better than any other product if it doesn't work as well to another consumer.

The bias at these forums is dangerous, it leads to a stagnation in development. Why provide steak when the customers will eat hamburger.

I never actually held the thin glass screen protector (glass to protect the glass) cause the Verizon salesperson put it on my screen before I felt it to see how heavy it is. I'm sure it's super light, but the phone does indeed seem heavier with the clear case and glass screen protector. I guess that's no surprise!

Or the insistence on a non standard screen res for the smaller cousin so that the 6s can have another "upgrade"

Or the fanfare of having NFC except you won't be able to use it until its unlocked on the 6s/7

Or the fact it doesn't come with a radio chip

Or that the icloud is set up such that the gullible and the stupid buy storage because they think they have to given the weekly warnings if you don't

Or the fact iOS has no file system in it so the only way to get stuff through it is via iTunes or air something. Got help you if you want to share any pictures or music from it.

Or the price of it compared to the competition

Or how I message, face time etc is locked down to apple only because, well, it locks you i n the system.

Just out of curiosity... why are there so many android-loving Apple-hating members on this forum anyway? It just seems odd to me that this place would attract so many and it seems so odd and futile to try to turn presumed Apple lovers against their stupid electronic devices. Jesus don't people have bigger fish to fry?

Also, hearing about the lack of IR Blasters makes me laught even more than hearing about bending. Ir Blasters, LOL.
 
I'm kind of obsessed with the fact that you just used "coalesce" in a sentence, and properly.

Side note, have been loving the absolute s*** out of my Plus since launch day. Didn't have a case on it till Monday, when I picked up a PRODUCT(RED) leather case, and honestly love the phone so much more now. It doesn't feel "fragile" without a case, but I worried way too much about dropping it or scratching up the back panel.

That list of nonsense and irrelevant things are a big part of the reason that Android has ~80% market share world wide.

That being said, I'm currently using an iPhone. If the iPhone 6 plus is the best that Apple has to offer, it may not stay that way.

Quite honestly, it bores me to death. I had an operation and they gave me that. Complete waste of time, which is a shame as I was looking forword to a legitimate buzz. Was hoping for more. I waited a day or two and then got back to beer, which was immeasurably better. Come to think of it, the OP's gush reminded me of stuff you read on the homebrew forums. You can tell those guys/gals have a few before they post. Nothing wrong with the OP's post BTW. Glad to see people have enthusiasm for something. Nothing worse than a 24/7 cynical bore.

My eyes are indeed open and its loving the iPhone 6. To me and many, many others it's the best. Money happily spent :) disagree all you'd like. Android devices aren't even on my radar anymore.
