How are there so many posts in here about people getting their Plus tomorrow when it was nearly impossible to get an order in before they all ran out? Who are these lucky bastards anyway?
I imagine they ordered through the Apple Store app, since that was somewhat working from early on last Friday.
I was trying that starting at 3:01am that morning and by the time I did get in the date was already in October. what gives..and how do they justify allowing some people who were trying just as hard to get totally screwed while others sail through? They should have delayed all of them till October to be fair to those like me who were trying just as hard to get through.
Even though the apple store came up late I waited for them because they always have more stock. I got a gold 64 plus being delivered tomorrow. I ordered within 7 mins of the store being up on the iPad app. I think most pluses were gone within 30 mins.

Both wife and I ordered the plus, and got shipping info yesterday. Her phone is listed as shipping label created and mine is shipped and in Harrisburg, PA.
Package is listed at 2lbs. Any chance they shipped them together or should I be concerned?

I order two Plus phones and my package is 3lbs. I only have one tracking number and it's through FedEx.
I have the Plus and it 2 pounds as well
Apple is only using UPS this year I believe. That's where I ordered it.
I was able to use the Apple Store app. I got the order in at 2:39 am. It did go down for about 10-15 minutes. I even had to pay my phone bill before they would process the order. Accidentally had two 64 GB phones in the cart. Luck of the draw I guess. I used the app last time to order my 5.

I spoke to Apple customer support today. They explained what happened as being due mostly to the various carrier's servers crashing under the load. Every order has to go through the carrier for verification before Apple can do anything with it, so while Apple's servers only crashed a couple of times, the carriers were doing a lot worse. At any rate Apple decided to throw in one of their nice leather cases as compensation for my troubles on the 12th.

I Ordered my 128gb iPhone 6 plus on the 12th at 1:30am that's the time I finally got through from refreshing over and over and I ordered a blue leather case to (don't no if it makes a difference ) I got that yesterday the 17th so my cc has been charged for iPhone my delivery date is on October.1st- 6th but it has preparing for shipment that just came up today so I'm hoping it will slip through cracks and be here tomarrow.

Wasn't showing any results a little while ago. Though I used the full 9-digit ZIP code this time instead of just the usual 5. The top reference is the full order number while the second is the phone number.
Hoping for an early delivery next week. Hovering over the purple arrows says "in transit" like the screenshot above. No serial number from Apple yet though.
Original delivery range was Oct. 1-6, which the order status page still says. 6+, space gray, 16GB, T-Mobile.
