How did you get them to upgrade your shipping to Next Day! nice! I called and they said no cant do anything. lol
I ordered using the apple app. 128G 6+. Conformation email arrived at 12:26 am ET.

I said that when I was placing the order, it said 9/19 and the moment it went thru, it said 7-10 business days and same with the email confirmation. This was when I was ordering the first one. My order status was also saying Oct 1 - 6.
So when I called today and asked what happen, he said he wasn't sure what happened of why that happened. He said they had about 5 million orders overnight. He said there wasnt much he could do oh how and when my iPhone will be shipped but himself offered to upgrade the shipping.
Then i told him politely that I had a second order also and gave him the order number of that and he was nice enough to upgrade that one also. I really wasnt expecting anything at all.

Ordered 64GB gold 6+ via Verizon's web site. When I placed my order at 3:45 am EST Friday and when I received my confirmation email at 4:55 am, my order was to be delivered by 10/7/14. Now on the Verizon site it shows "We received your order and it is in process" and the expected ship date is blank.

Current order status: Backordered as of yesterday at about 10 AM Central Time but the expected delivery date is 9/20. Tmobile and no JUMP upgrade either.

So far, I only see 9/19 delivery dates for Apple store orders. Carriers are the ones who seem to be pushing back to Oct. for Plus orders.
Probably a case of the carriers not having any stock of Pluses right now to throw in a box and slap the sticker on.
Ordered one at about 5:15AM Eastern, practically once the online store opened back up to the masses. 16GB, space gray for T-Mobile. Available to ship in 7-10 days with an October 1-6 delivery window...
I ordered via the Apple Store App and I am unfortunately with an Oct 1-6 date for my 64GB Plus (AT&T) in both silver and gray. I ordered by 2:16 PDT. Given that the main Apple Store website was down, I was surprised that the 9/19 inventory was depleted just by people ordering via the Apple Store App.
Finally ordered though the app at 530a EST after trying since 3a. 16gb Verizon space gray plus with pick up on 9/19. I don't know how it happened.
Got my confirmation email at 2:47am CDT for my 128GB Gold 6 Plus.

I find it a little strange that the shipping time now is still 3-4 weeks...the same as Friday evening when I preordered. You would think that time would have slipped into Nov by now...
I'm betting way more people are going to receive their orders on 9/19 than they think.
My AT&T 16GB Silver 6 Plus is still being prepared for shipment and is scheduled for deliver on Friday (5 LOOOOONG days away!). Nothing is showing up on My Support, FedEx, or UPS. I am not worried at all of course, but might be a little anxious if nothing changes by Wednesday.
I have a sneaking suspicion this may happen too. I ordered middle of the night Saturday night so my order at apple.com shows shipping 10/14-10/21 for a 6+ silver 64
