I went to the T-mobile store today, and the iPhone 6 was bent very obviously right at the volume buttons. I then went to AT&T and the 6+ was also bent.

There is the camera lens that sticks out. Maybe that's your issue. No pics. It didn't happen.

Why post a pic of a slight bend? The OP has no reason to do this as it has been posted over and over and over and over again. Saying that it didn't happen is ridiculous.

More then half of those phone pictures look like people intentionally bended them/put them through a meat grinder. i wouldnt be suprised if Samsung is hiring/doing some **** on the low just buying iPhones and bending them and posting pictures up of them, wouldnt be the first time Samsung has did something similiar like that(Samsung got caught writing bad comments and reviews for the M8 all over the web, they paid people to do this and they ended up getting caught)

Or maaaaaaaybe Google is doing it and and in response to this horrible blackmail Apple to finally dropped their 2 BILLION dollar patent case:

Or maaaaaaaybe Apple is obsessed with making thin and light as "air" products and didn't properly build a sturdy phone.

I am going to guess it is the latter. Just a hunch.

Cause pics are proof. Without pics it could be someone just spreading FUD. Either post a pic or don't post I have a slight bend. Anyone can say that.

Apple mismanagement, and especially their arrogance, lost me in the 1995 until 2011. Apple mismanagement, and especially their arrogance, has lost me again with bendgate. Apple's arrogant silence on this issue is deafening.

Not everyone is out to hurt your brand. They just want apple to set it right. Or at least be consistent with their exchange policy. Why do you want to see another bent phone pic? There are hundreds of pictures out there already.

And we take the feedback from those 5 people very seriously. ^^

other pics of people who purposely bent a phone arent the same as saying my phone is slightly bent. If true, why wouldn't u post a pic? No pic, it didn't happen.

Not talking about those. 1000s out there with slight bending. Very easy to see. Take off the Apple blinders.

I can hear the apple press release now...."we are revising our statement about bendgate. It was not 9 bent phones......it is actually only 5 valid cases. The gifted users at macrumors cracked the case. It was Samsung faking hundreds of forum, Twitter and reddit accounts all along!"

Clearly it's something Apple is taking seriously. When I returned my (unbent!) 6 this week, the Apple Store employee showed me the "Bent?" screen of the return process they're using to track the situation.

My view: have AppleCare+, so IDGAF.

How do we know without pics?

We use our comprehension skills to interpret this part (emphasis mine)

Just came back from the Apple Store after an appointment at the Genius bar. Showed him my phone, and the Genius agreed that it was bent (if only ever so slightly; you can see a very, very, very small gap between the front surface and the tabletop.)

Thinking about this logically, it suggests that the front of the phone has been placed against the tabletop, as opposed to the rear of the phone.

it was bent (if only ever so slightly; you can see a very, very, very small gap between the front surface and the tabletop).... my phone is 100% functioning, and I can't tell that the phone is bent unless I put it down on a table and really look for it.

Anyone can type what they want. Doesn't mean its true. That's my point. No pics -- it didn't happen -- period end of story. I can say my phone turned purple spontaneously. No pics -- didn't happen. Its so easy to post pics here, I doubt anyone who makes a statement about some physical defect but posts no pictures. No pics -- don't even bother to post.

Spontaneously? Or due to undue pressure? Without more facts, its not relevant.

I have AppleCare+ but don't agree... Why should we have to use one of the non-warranty lives, and pay for it, when most are clearly defective?

I have no experience of the phones being defective; I'm assuming they're just not as sturdy as their predecessors.

I fully expect a thin piece of metal to bend if I sit on it. If Apple is willing to warranty against that with AppleCare+, then that's fine by me. I plan on not sitting on my phone.

i DO appreciate threads like this to serve as a bit of a warning to be more careful with my new Plus . . .

Scuff Gate was 187 pages?? Really?? I didn't think it was that bad, lol, and I had the slate black iPhone 5 at the time. I still think it's probably the coolest looking iPhone.

Correct.

But there are some people that really believe that there some crazy scandal regarding bending.

With number approaching 50 million to 70 million iPhone6/6+ sold. It is very unlikely that most people with bend phones bent them through normal use. If that where the case we would be looking at millions of phones being returned as defective and a much larger outcry by the public.

I'm not posting a pic because that would require me to go dig out my DSLR from who knows where and take a photo of my phone, which is my only accessible camera nowadays. Even if I took a picture it would be hard to tell (like I said the bending is very slight), but the Genius at the Apple Store did agree that it was bent. He then went to go ask his manager what they should do with bent phones.

I'm not sharing my experience to start a witch hunt or to blow this issue out of proportion. Do you find me writing stuff like "OMG Apple sucks, their engineering team is **** and clearly know nothing about structural mechanics"? No. I love Apple products because I think they are beautifully designed, well thought-out products. I am an Apple shareholder. I believe in the company.

Issue or not, all I am saying that is my phone DID bend very, very slightly after normal usage, and I don't need a picture to prove it.

Incorrect. Most bends are likely slight and don't bug a majority of people to the point of noticing or taking it back. Same could be said for a yellow screen, stuck pixel, dust under screen, etc. Whether a slightly bent phone is a defect or not is up to the individual consumer. So please stop making blanket statements for owners of all phones.

Mine isn't bent but does get twisted. What I mean is that if I place the phone, even in its case, on a flat surface, I can rock it back and forth on diagonally opposite corners. I can unwarp/untwist the phone by gently holding and pulling each corner down with my hands. It comes back if I put the phone in my front pants pocket or pocket where there might be movement. It doesn't bother me but it does show how malleable the chassis of the 6+ is. Oh and my wife's OnePlus One is the exact same way.

But that's what you just did. Make a blanket statement about all phones. In your opinion all of them are bent or about to be bent. You're doing the very thing you're objecting to.

In no way did I do that... I said likely most of those that ARE bent are unnoticed. Where in my statement did I quantify how many are bent?? I didn't. I can't possibly know that and neither can anyone else here.

Welcome back.
