Is that shipping already for you?looks interesting

They have some in for their testing before they release them, but no, not shipping yet but should in a few days. One of the employees, who answered a few of my email questions, came here to macrumors and has posted a few times. Search for threads with iloome in the subject to read what he's said.

Do you have a picture of your install to share, please?

Here's my iPhone 6 with a Best Skins Ever glossy protector that I put on last night. It had quite a few bubbles when first applied but they have all since disappeared 16 hours later.

I have the zagg glass protector. On the white iPhone it looks good. On my black iPhone 6 it stands out a little because of the screen curve. Like a little frame. I did drop the phone a mere 12 hours later. Landed on the screen of course. Now there are little cracks around the edges of the protector. I'll wait and see if they come out with one for the curved edges. I'm just glad the main screen is good.

I really like the glass protectors because it is a natural feel.

Looks good. Did you get a skin for the back too? How easy/difficult was it to apply?

Thanks.

I just got the screen protector. It was actually pretty easy, following their instructions. Being a wet install, you can slide it around and get it lined up perfectly. Plus, it wraps around the curves on the screen so it goes all the way to the edge and all the way around the home button. Looks way better than the ones that only cover the flat part of the screen.

I've always used Power Support Anti Glare film going back to the original iPhone. Put one on my 6 but the only thing I don't like is that it doesn't go all the way to the edge ( because of the curve ) according to them. I almost wanted to go without this time but the smudges drives me crazy and the film keeps the grease down.

I've already pre-ordered Power Support anti glare protectors for my plus and wifes 6.

I swear by them since they first started. Not only do they allow me to see in the daylight they also cut back on fingerprints dramatically.

I would get it. Got it for my 6. There glass ones and they're really good.

Just understand that most normal people would put on screen protectors. Your asking MacRumors fanatics what they think.

A lot of them tend to say they don't want screen protectors then scratch their phones and then whine on the site.

Power support is a top notch screen protector. They are currently accepting Pre-orders hopefully their cut this year meets up to the challenges of the rounded edges

The screen protector distort colors and text. The quality of the screen with a screen protector is horrible.

I have never used a screen protector since my first iphone 1 and because I take care of the iphone I have never scratched the screen.

If you want to avoid scratches you have to follow some simple rules:

1- Never place your iphone with keys, coins, or any other object in your pockets.

2- Never place your iphone anywhere with the screen facing down.

3- Never wear rings

4- Never give your iphone to friends or ladies that use earrings. Or if they have to use your iphone they can use the speakerphone.

The iphone screen is very durable and it will only scratch with very few things.
LOL are you for real ?

I'mean a couple of your points I agree with like not placing the phone in pockets with keys or loose change but the rest is damn right ridiculous!

...so I must never wear my wedding ring now that I own the iphone 6 Lmao

Fwiw since owning the iPhone 4 and 5, this will be the first time I go screen protector free with the 6.

Halo Screen Protectors

Allot of the screen protector debate is personal opinion, just like with cases.

Personally, I always keep one of the thin protectors on my phone since it is subject to tiny scratches being in jeans all day, and I am very OCD about scratches/scuffs (I also use a UAG case for body protection-Love it). I always used the HAlO protectors for my iphone 5 and are also using them for my 6. The fit is good, and they are the only ones that I was able to install with out air bubbles. They also are generally pretty reasonably priced on amazon and the company is very helpful with any questions or concerns. And my screen stays scratch-free.

I had a screen protector on my iPhone 6 for half a day and then took it off. I'll just wait for a screen protector that actually covers the entire front of the iPhone.

I had the Zagg Invisible Shield Glass in my 5s and it was the best I've ever used.

That being said, I bought an invisible shield hdx for my 6 and took it off after a day; it ruined the smooth curvature of the phone and I could see distortion underneath it, despite it being a dry application.

Glass was out of the question for me since I knew how much thicker they are than standard zagg shields.

So far, I've applied a few original zagg shields for customer's iPhone 6/plus and because of the way it shapes to the device, that seems to be the best balance.

The only thing that bugs me is that they don't feel nearly as nice as the actual glass on the phone itself.

I'd recommend iCarez anti-glare screen protectors. They're available right now on Amazon for around $6. You get three and they come with an easy-install kit. I had them for the 5s and loved them. Granted, they don't go all the way to the edge of the screen on the 6 Plus, but that's to be expected because of the curved glass.

IPhone 6 screen protector - or not?

I always put tempered glass protectors on my devices. Honestly, with those you don't even notice it's there after a couple of days. I'll neverrrrr go back to plastic screen protectors. Gross.
