I got my 6+ today and recieved my iCarez 4-way privacy screen protector. I was a bit hesitant about it because of the brand but pickings for privacy protectors were mighty slim so i did it.

I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised by the whole package. It came with two rubber bands to hold the protector in place so you can put a piece of tape on it to fold it over. Then another piece of tape for the opposite side so you can pick it up to bring it back over. They also provide not only some dust tape but an extra strip to pick up the screen protector. And all the tape strips have a flap that is non-adhesive to make it easier to pull them up. Very nice packaging and accessories, IMO.

As for the protector itself I was pretty happy with it. I didnt realize it would have a matte finish which is what i normally use so it was a great surprise. It's not as private as a lot of other protectors I've seen but it is probably going to fall in to the realm of "good enough". Even at an 80 degree angle I can still see stuff on the screen but can't totally make it out. If my glass one gets here and is amazingly better i might try it out.

That screen protector just makes a bright awesome screen look dull and boring!

If you're happy though.

Unless someone designs a screen protector so cover most of the screen, i won't be using one. tried spigen ones, truly awful fit. i understand its curved but they were nowhere near the edge of the phone

I work in a cube environment now and have been sitting in on a lot of meetings. Quite a few people have Lumia 1520's around here and when they use them, you can clearly see what's on the screen. Even read emails and such. They can be sitting a table away at lunch and I can see it.

I'm so used to being able to "hide" the screen on my 5S so that people can't really look at it but it becomes pretty impractical at the 6+ screen size. Somehow, I missed the head one shot in that last post, so I'll post it here.

Suffice to say that, head on, it really doesn't dull a whole lot more than the standard matte/anti-glare protectors I used. But at the same time makes it difficult to make out what's on the screen without making it obvious you're trying to see what's on the screen. I feel a lot happier about that. If I still worked in my last office with a more private cube and fewer meetings, I likely would have gone protector-less.

no point in getting a screen protector if it's not tempered. At least with tempered it protects against drop. Shouldn't worry about scratches when the phones today use gorilla glass.

To each his or her own I guess but dang that looks awful! These screens are amazing, why would you want to darken it like that? Yuck!

I posted because I'm sure I'm not the only person in the world that uses privacy screen protectors. Hopefully it will help them decide if that's one they want to get.

Extremely...that's why I never understand why people bother with these dinky plastic additions to their beautiful devices. The only things you need to worry about are diamond jewelry and sand. Everyday, or even extreme use of the device won't compromise the screen. This is coming from someone who used to be obsessed with screen protectors, and has realized the grass IS greener on the other side.

Does anyone have the ZAGG Glass for iPhone 6 with the Apple leather/silicone case? How big is the gap between the edge of the Glass and where the case meets the edge?

Pretty big. I think you should get iloome ScreenMate with CurveProtect instead. :D

Got my BSE and applied it. The screen protector is indeed edge to edge as shown in previous photos. As much as I didn't want a wet install, I must say this is the best yet of all the protectors I've seen/tried for the 6. I know this will be asked, so yes, it does have a tacky feeling...it's the same with all wet protectors.

By tacky feeling, you mean the kind of smushy feeling of a Skinomi product? Does the BSE screen protector (not the case version) get its edges messed up if a case is used? I'm trying to decide between accompanying my Caudabe veil for iPhone 6 with a BSE wet screen protector, or an iloom glass screen protector. I would want the one that is unaffected by having the Caudabe case on.

Yup, just like Skinomi (and Zagg, Ghost Armor, Phantom Skinz, Xtremeshield, etc). Mine is still wet so I can't put my case back on yet. I can update you tomorrow.

Ok...so are you saying that you are producing a tempered glass screen protector that will protect the screen from edge to edge...even the curved glass? What type of warranty do you have?

Yes it seems as though they have now updated it with the camera cutout. The ones I have cover the camera. I will give them a try and see if the protector interferes with the camera before I re purchase these.

This image would also explain the need for an open ended home button cut out. It seems the glass curves immediately after the home button. So the small piece of plastic required to complete the cutout would be on the curved part of glass and would be prone to lifting if it ever stuck at all.

Great observation. I think it makes sense. Having a half circle cutout surrounding the home button is not new and I have come across some screen protectors for previous iPhones and those are usually the dirt cheap one. It makes it easier to align. But I think your observation should be the real reason. Usually high quality screen protectors from manufacturers such as Spigen, Power Support, wouldn't compromise the coverage surrounding the home button but for iPhone 6/6+, those good companies leave a semi-circular cutout around the home button.

Regardless of the real reason, I find it probably an eye sore to see cutout like this. It makes the presence of screen protector more noticeable. Definitely consider full curved glass protectors instead when they are more common in the market

iPhone 6+ 3M™ Paint Defender Spray Film applied

covered the whole screen flawlessly. Used painters tape so its edge to edge  Looks very very clear too.

Yes! :D

EDIT: I forgot to mention our warranty. 30 days, no question asked return policy.

Put my case back on today (Ringke Fusion) and it did not affect the screen protector. I have a full body, btw.
