The first genius who tried to help me said,"it's bec. the ip6 is retina" after showing him my ip4 w/cool temp side by side with ip6 pic. The next genius compared it to another employees ip6 and noticed the yellow tint on mine now so she replaced it. This is my new iphone6 now..

another yellow :( but i'm just gonna keep this one.

you guys are right almost every ip6 on their display table has cooler temp

Personally I think that screen on the 6 is gorgeous. I compared mine with the Apple store devices and all of them have the pinkish tint to it (not sure why but for me it looked pinkish). I glad mine doesn't have the pinkish tint.

But when I compare my 6 Plus to the iPad Mini Retina, surely my iPad Mini Retina has the yellow tint and is is very, very noticeable difference. I also compared my 6 Plus to my 4S (no yellow tint) and it shows the same hue.

I've yet to see a cooler ip6+ in the wild. Every 6 however has a glorious screen. It baffles me how they can't get the simplest of tasks to work. I mean the screen is the main feature of the phone, it's how you operate and use it. Without it its a paper weight. So you would think they would try get it right at least.

Can anyone comment my screen as to it being "yellow", "blue" or "uneven", etc?

I have absolutely no idea.

Thanks

A screenshot will not show any indication of whether you have a yellow tint or not. You will need to take a photo of your phone with a camera.

Sorry, this is is FULL bright:

My iPhone 3G/3GS/4S/5/5S have all had yellow tinted screens. They haven't been really that bad but definitely noticeable. My iPhone 4, iPhone 6 and iPad 2 have had white screens. My girlfriend on the other hand has not experienced a single yellow screen. So I am happy I finally got a decent screen.

OP, why not take it back and try to get a replacement? It never hurts to try.

I am starting to think that these screens are mostly normal, when I had my 4s first one it was yellow BUT also washed out , most of these are just a tad yellow.

I had my 6plus replaced and it was a tad on the yellow but my new replacement is a tad pink like you stated.

On the tad yellow I had to turn bold on (to see the text better), but on my tad pink, I had to shut bold off (to see the background better).
I actually like my new one better but while driving it really shows its tad pink , going to take time to get used to it but I do like it better for my eyes compared to the tad yellow , but I could live with both , no problem at all, thanks to that bold setting .

Bold setting?

I did try it on my iMac and I hate it so I had to quickly remove it. It turned the entire screen Yellow.

Use it for a week. You will never want to uninstall it again. Make sure to set your location and set to a slow 60 minute transition. Your eyes will adjust just like wearing amber sunglasses. After about 30 minutes of using it turn it off and let your eyes burn. Do you still want to uninstall it?

When I had it for my iPhone it was great when using in dark restaurants and at night time. No more blinding light from the phone (Even at 40% with auto brightness). But I have to admit auto brightness works much better on the 6 than it ever did on my 5.

I prefer the blue tint over a yellow screen. Sadly you can't adjust the screen saturation. It is a software problem. All screens are fine but they got calibrated wrong. In Android you can change this easy with apps.

I wonder if the Plus mostly got the "cool" screens.

Reason is all I see are people with Pluses mentioning their blue screen as opposed the the regular 6 having piss yellow screens.

I have screen envy! I still have no word on my replacement handset from carphone warehouse. Hopefully I'll get a screen as glorious as yours.

I'm getting so fed up with the BS from Apple. They claim to have "the best ________ on the market", yet all of their products have display issues. What makes me mad is that it's been going on for years, they don't admit it's an issue, and they don't fix it.

I returned my first 6 for crooked text on the back and a piss yellow display (uniform piss).

Then the second phone had a home button that was defective, and bright blotches on the screen.

My third phone is perfect....except the bottom half of my screen is piss yellow. You can scroll down and watch the page go piss yellow.

I am so tempted to leave Apple products for good. We all pay a premium and get mediocrity.

Been the opposite for me. I have a cooler 6+ in hand right now and EVERY iPhone 6 screen i've dealt with has had issues. Yellow tint, dead pixels, and non-uniform colours.

About to call Apple to return my 6 cos i'm tired of playing the display lottery. I'd rather have kept a 6 but i need a gd screen so i'll tough out the size/weight issue of the 6+ for the screen.
