I am not an Apple basher. I have just about every Apple product there is. But I recently switched from my Iphone 5S to an LG G2 and soon will get a G3. Here is why I am not buying an Iphone 6:

1. I don't care what the back of a phone looks like. I put a case on it. Whether the Iphone 6 has lines or breaks, doesn't matter to me.

2. I really like a big screen with high resolution. The Iphone 6 will have about half the resolution of the G3 in a much smaller screen.

3. I like a notification led light. The Iphone 6 won't have it.

4. I like wireless charging. The Iphone 6 won't have it.

5. G3 will have removable battery and Micro SD for up to 128 GB storage, Iphone 6 will not.

6. The front design of the Iphone 6 has large bezels which now seem dated and ugly to me.

I can agree with #6, the rest doesn't matter to me. I want it to look like (sone of) those concepts.

I know quite a bit about the human eye and there is a limit past which we can't perceive differences in resolution. But don't let me get in the way of numbers-chasing. :D

What device? The several I used...

Settings > Device/Display > Pulse Notification (OFF)

Not that tough.

Not...there

What device is that? I'll look it up for you. There has to be a way to shut it off, or turn it off for individual apps.

Well thats the point, Android is so buggy and the apps for it as well that there IS an in-app option to turn the notification off but sometimes it works and other times it doesnt, maybe because they are updating the apps like every week (Facebook, Twitter...) and the settings reset or something. I have a couple of Xperias that are light flashing all the time but its because they are on an old Android version and I cant update because the updater crashes all the time.

Im not gonna have them for long so its not really worth the trouble investing time in it anymore. I really need to find a new Android for developing but there are so many devices and I cant find one thats reliable like an iPhone. I know that the default answer would be Samsung S5 as its the flagship really but all the reviews say that its hella buggy.

What are you talking about? Apple hasn't released the iPhone 6 yet. You just want a reason to justify the reason you bought an Android phone. You don't need to tell us about it.

When did you get the iPhone 6??? Your obviuosly not that happy with the G2 if you have to come to a iOS forum and try to justify your purchase of the G2. Its called insecurity :)

Ok guys it's clear what the op was trying to do with this thread, no need to keep feeding him. Now off to the wasteland with this thread.

It's your choice which system you choose. No one has the right to be rude to you about it, and I noticed that some people were.

But I don't think you should be making such assumptions of the iPhone 6. Though some of the rumours may turn out to be accurate, they're still rumours. They aren't fact and could turn out to be completely different. Who knows? The iPhone 6 could turn out to be a transparent OLED iPhone. Unlikely, but who knows besides those planning and manufacturing them?

Apple is known for being highly secretive. I don't know of any cases where they've released details for an unreleased product.

I think that the iphone will have all of the features you mention (except the sd card as apple make far more money not including this feature) but they will be phased in over a period of years as this will net them the most cash.

Don't get me wrong I have quite a few apple products and overall I'm fairly happy with them but the iphone does seem to lag behind now and I think it's purely to do with apple making more and more money out of the consumer by deliberately phasing in features over a period of a few generations of iphone which could all be added in the next iphone. Just my thoughts.

You think it will have notification light!!!??!! OMG I would pee myself.

if one more person points out the same fact that the iPhone 6 isn't out yet ... then I'm not getting it either :D

That's because you're under the display options and not under the notifications options.

How did the OP get his hands on the iPhone 6? I mean to make such brash predictions surely he must have one in his possession. :D

I used to be like you, way back in the day.

I thought that Apple was just crap and I was always bashing it's products. Until one day, when I stared at an iPhone for a good while, and the product really grew on me.

It was saying, "Buy me, buy me, I'm pretty and I work good"
And that was the day I stopped hating on Apple and started to appreciate the products for what they are.

If they work to your needs, I don't see the problem. Most of the stuff you said is only cosmetic.

The world is full of haters, and you sir are one of them. Yes, hater, hater, hater. You are only justifying why you switched over to another phone, for no particular reason because you are saying the iPhone 6 is ugly. Tell me, has it come out yet? (Rhetorical question)

Stop being a hater because I know you are probably going to be in line at launch day.

Or don't come back to Apple, we won't miss you. :p

Remember, Think Different :apple:
