It's like all the UFO conspiracy films. I could throw a 3GS up in the air and it would still record a better movie than this.

The slide might even be real, but the video is a joke to tease people.

I could go to the next movie theater, take a grainy shot of chairs and cut and paste any **** on top of it.

That's just a joke, the iPhone will not be announced, it will have its event in september, being available in october.

The only thing I really like to know is, will Apple announce two sizes.
If they don't, people might wait for it ... that cannot be what Apple wants.

Either they introduce both, or they will be no larger phone than 4,7".

(Which is fine. I just hate Apple for their choice of non standard screen resolutions.)

I wonder why no other mac rumors outlet has picked up on this. I wonder if they have all done their research and it doesn't pass the smell test.

The render looks really good – and it has just a straight separator line, not these strange and slightly ugly lines along the very top/bottom like the mockups had. Hence I certainly hope it's the real deal ... :)

THAT video is a recording of ANOTHER video....
The background noise sounds like a small room...NOT a concert/outside place. The sound is not spreading far...And the way the colors look like. Seems like an HDTV but not real life. The patters of the chairs do not look natural in the video. The lighting of it does not appear natural.

this could easily just be Apple running fake mockups as a laugh, not thinking it'd get out. Or, they're running the fake mockups on the screen to see if it would so they could pinpoint who.

Or it could be real.

Or it could just be..fake..all around.

Apple COULD have decided to reveal at WWDC. It may be necessary to reveal to developers that their apps need updating to a higher resolution/larger screen by September.

Don't they announce iOS 1st, let it go through the beta testing for months, then have another even to announce the finished iOS and new iPhone (about late August)? Do they announce and new iOS and new iPhone at the same event?

They don't announce new software and related new hardware at the same time, at least not usually.

Theses are fakes

The original website (http://www.nowhereelse.fr/iphone-6-video-wwdc-2014-98039/) updated with the following statement (I'm a French Canadian, so I translated it)

"[MAJ] Fausse alerte ! Sans grande surprise et au regret de décevoir les plus impatients d’entre vous, la photo comparative ci-dessous confirme de toute évidence que cette vidéo n’est rien de plus qu’un habile montage réalisé à partir d’un cliché plus ancien retouché afin de simuler la projection des images d’un iPhone 6… Bien joué… [/MAJ]"

Which basically means

"[Update] False alarm! Without any surprise and regret to disappoint the most impatient among you, the comparative picture below clearly confirms that this video is nothing more than a clever collage made from an old retouched photo to simulate the projection images of an iPhone 6 ... Well done ... [Update]"

It's fake

The French site that originally published it has said it's indeed fake.

The message in French in the website that published it: "[MAJ] Fausse alerte ! Sans grande surprise et au regret de décevoir les plus impatients d’entre vous, la photo comparative ci-dessous confirme de toute évidence que cette vidéo n’est rien de plus qu’un habile montage réalisé à partir d’un cliché plus ancien retouché afin de simuler la projection des images d’un iPhone 6… Bien joué… [/MAJ]"

English translation: "false alert! Without great surprise and regret to deceive the most impatient ones, the comparative picture you see below confirms all the evidence that this video is a good montage made from an old clip modified to simulate the images of the iPhone 6...we'll played"

What I'm also curious about is the blue shape in the bottom right. If you keep your eye on it from the beginning of the video, it starts blurry and then comes into focus as the camera seems to stabilize about 3 seconds in. Is it possible to do something like that if it was just a still image as you described?

I'm no editing whiz, so I'm asking you guys.

Looks like a man sitting at a laptop... No??

if they do reveal it at WWDC will it be like the mac pro reveal with coming later this year ?

Doubtful. The MacPro update had been long anticipated- so sales were already slow.

Pre-announcing the iPhone6 months in advance would have a real impact on sales for a whole fiscal quarter.

Apple only pre-announces far in advance when they don't already have a product they're going to damage sales of. Like the the first generation iPhone or iPad.

There is without doubt no reason for apple to show the slides before the keynote it's completely stupid and I'm 99% sure this is fake
