This has been my first time ordering an iPhone through Apple's website. I have AT&T as my wireless carrier, and chose the AT&T iPhone 6s Plus during checkout, but chose to pay for it in full instead of going with an AT&T Next plan. My question is, when my iPhone arrives, will the phone come with an AT&T SIM card? If so, do I have to use it, or can I just stick my current AT&T Nano-SIM in the new phone and not worry about the one that comes with the iPhone?

I order the Unlocked T-mobile 128gb 6s in Space Gray. Not realizing that it did not support the new LTE Band 30 that ATT is starting to use. So I ordered the att version also. Guess I will just cancel the T-Mobile one when I get the chance. Unless someone is looking to get a that particular T-mobile model on launch day.

how do you purchase ATT unlock iphone?

Ordered 16gb space grey 6S around 2:15 CST. Tried the apple app on my phone at first, but it was down. Started ordering from ATT app, too much typing (don't they have my address and cc?!). Went back to apple app, got all the way to apple pay and it said they couldn't confirm contract info (or something like that) from ATT.

Went back to ATT app to start over. Tried apple app again and it worked!! Paid with apple pay. 9/25 delivery. Now if only the phone was for me lol. It's for my husband.;)

It will come with a SIM card inside already programmed to your number. When you turn it on and activate the phone, your old SIM card will be deactivated.

Are you running a business out of your phone?

You could still cancel and get to AT&T 2 hours before they open on Oct. 25 to get the Plus on the 2-year contract. Last year, I was only an hour early and missed out. The guy after me got the last Plus, but I wanted 3. It's best to go to a store in the mall where 90% of the people are stuck at the Apple store line. Your store will vary.

I'm an uber driver so between rides I watch a lot of Netflix and YouTube videos. But I ordered from AT&T. They offered the two year contract

Managed to get a 64 GB iPhone 6s (space grey) for £260 upfront and £32 per month (unlimited mins and texts, 5 GB data) on EE (UK). Upgrading from an iPhone 4s - can't wait! The 4s did me well but it will find a new lease of life with my mum, who is still using a phone with polyphonic ringtones and no a camera.

Did almost the same this morning, but paid 290 upfront, 45 a month with 20gb of data

oh and got a 128gb this time, won't make the mistake of not getting max GB now adays

Same for me. If I remember correctly, it was the same way when I registered for the Apple Watch try-on appointment. The 'Reservations' area is for the Genius Bar (and maybe classes?) and the product reservations aren't a part of that system.

Thanks for letting me know. I was getting a little nervous. :)

Is it possible to purchase a 6s in rose gold 64gb Verizon device only? I'm on t-mobile and want to get this as surprise gift for my wife.

I wouldn't panic over the shipping date. Until it actually ships, AT&T's delivery estimates are pretty unreliable. I had the same experience last year and I received both phones I ordered on launch day.
I wish I were privy to this info before. I have to go to the AT&T store at 6 AM in 2 weeks now to get the 2-year contract price. Please let me know if this is actually the case to prepare for next year. Oh, the humanity.

Nice :) what a deal. 20 GB is amazing - not sure I'd use it though! I have wifi at work and home, so only really use data on my (15 minute) commute.

Say what you want... All 3D touch gestures can be emulated on previous devices with a simple long hold.

3D Touch is not a long press. Sorry charlie. 3D Touch registers different levels of pressure on the z-axis. Of course, this is going to be the argument and the hack that Android will implement to try to stay relevant.

A main new feature... Live photos? Are you kidding me? Just take a god damn video.

Take a look at current culture, Instagram, Vine, etc... this is what people do. And it's automatic. And you can turn it off if it really rubs your balls the wrong way. I think it adds a nice touch of humanity to things and works well in their ecosystem.

Even Hey Siri without being plugged in can be easily activated with a simple jailbreak.

Go ahead. Jailbreak your phone then and hack everything. Have fun with your malware and getting support. Plus, they've done more to Siri so that it learns your voice. That way you don't have morons like you running into a Starbucks yelling "Hey Siri! Hey Siri!" to try to get the attention you crave.

Features like the keyboard trackpad were present in the iOS 9 betas on previous iOS devices, yet have been removed to exclusively be on these new devices.

It's present on the iPad, not the phones. Because... ergonomics.

This may be the right buy for pre-iPhone 5s users ready to upgrade, but otherwise this year it all seems so half assed.

You're an idiot. A9 processor is twice as fast. 3D Touch which will be implemented by developers, an even better camera than what the iPhone 6 had (which is already amazing). You can sit at home and wait for your check from Samsung so you can throw a sad green robot pity party. Womp. womp.

Not a compelling buy at all. Skip.
Yep, it sure doesn't look compelling to everyone else on here who's ordered.

Apple's website is a complete and utter failure for this launch. Totally unacceptable.
Happens every year man. Why not just wait a day? There are plenty of things more unacceptable in this world. You may just need to accept some reality.

Yeah I agree, I don't really need it but was apple music gets better and everything requires more data I thought it was best to think ahead :) are you expecting delivery on the 25th?

Yet, Apple does not offer unlocked iPhones online, or in the store! Did they not start a new plan to sell the phones directly with monthly payments different from carrier phones?

Wasted trip to the store!

Apple is now accepting pre-orders for the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus through its online storefront and through the Apple Store app. Pre-orders are available in first wave launch countries including the United States, Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, the UK, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, and Singapore.

All of the major U.S. carriers, Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile, are accepting pre-orders for the new devices, but online pre-orders are not available from retailers like Best Buy, Target, and Walmart.

We haven't heard rumors pointing towards supply constraints for the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus, but it's best to make an order right away if possible. In past years, iPhone supplies have dwindled significantly following the kickoff of pre-orders, and with last year's iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, 6 Plus supplies sold out quickly.

Both the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus come in 16, 64, and 128GB configurations, with four color options: Silver, Space Gray, Gold, and Rose Gold.

iPhone 6s pricing in the U.S. starts at $199 with a two-year carrier contract, with the 64 and 128GB models priced at $299 and $399, respectively. Without a contract, the iPhone 6s in 16/64/128GB is priced at $649/$749/$849.

iPhone 6s Plus pricing in the U.S. starts at $299 with a two-year carrier contract, with the 64 and 128GB models priced at $399 and $499, respectively. Without a contract, the iPhone 6s Plus in 16/64/128GB is priced at $749/$849/$949.

Customers who wish to make a purchase through Apple's new U.S. iPhone Upgrade Program will need to make an online reservation for an in-store appointment. Reservations are available now.

In-store sales of the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus will begin on Friday, September 25, which is the official launch day for the new devices.

The original post states that best buy isn't accepting online preorders, or that it wasn't, but I was actually able to pre-order my iPhone 6s from best buy online, I'll admit it took a lil extra effort to find it, but i actually found it & ordered it before the Apple Store online doors opened for me.

I use ATT and want unlock iphone...
i choose Verizon with full price? I tried ATT full price and does not allow me to check out

Anyone else think the rose gold colour is ...well... just rose? Even the box shows completely pink labelling.

I actually don't mind it but I wouldn't call it rose it gold which typically has far more yellow with pink hues and highlights.

There's a spectrum of course but the rose gold iPhone doesn't really fit on it at all.

Does anyone know how closely the Space Grey 6s matches the Space Grey Retina MacBook?

Good thinking. It's impossible to be future proof with tech, but it's good to try and be a bit future resistant eh!

I'm half expecting delivery on the 25th... I had my order in by 08:10 so maybe it will arrive then if that was early enough. Are you?
