I was shocked at all the tariffs from all the UK networks...
They do seem to be milking it this time around. I suspect stock levels will hold out just fine until more realistic tariffs emerge.

I ordered the same phone (Space Gray for mine) with AppleCare at 7am Eastern Time (US) and the order went through with no issue and will arrive on the launch day of the 25th.Order placed. AT&T 6S+ 128GB with AppleCare. Easy peasy. Though it didn't really open up till like 3:06am EST.
I have the same thing. Been waiting since 3:10 am EST for confirmation email. Is anyone else's order in the 'processing' stage? Got an email confirmation for the order but I just want to make sure my card has been approved
Just says 'order status may be delayed'...

Had a similar message when I ordered my AppleWatch but it did arrive on first day of availability.
Hoping this is same situation.
I ordered 64gb 6s as an upgrade from O2. The new 30gb tariff is pretty steep but at least don't have to worry about running out of data + it includes insurance and if I understood correctly you can upgrade again next year. Got the rose gold in a moment of madness. In all pictures it looks very pink and would prefer more coppery colour like on the Apple watch. Delivery was promised on 25th but yet to receive confirmation. They do seem to be milking it this time around. I suspect stock levels will hold out just fine until more realistic tariffs emerge.
Say what you want... All 3D touch gestures can be emulated on previous devices with a simple long hold.
A main new feature... Live photos? Are you kidding me? Just take a god damn video. Even Hey Siri without being plugged in can be easily activated with a simple jailbreak.
Features like the keyboard trackpad were present in the iOS 9 betas on previous iOS devices, yet have been removed to exclusively be on these new devices.
This may be the right buy for pre-iPhone 5s users ready to upgrade, but otherwise this year it all seems so half assed.
Not a compelling buy at all. Skip.
iPhone upgrade program reservation made iPhone 6S+ 128GB Gold
it's funny how people always say this... especially when they have the previous model.
can the screen physically vibrating be emulated? how about the faster processor? stronger aluminum? more ram? better camera?
Yes. The phones are the same this year. Verizon, Sprint, T-mobile, and AT&T will all work.
It will still work. You just won't get LTE band 30, which AT&T is just starting to roll out to supplement its coverage in congested areas.According to http://www.apple.com/iphone/LTE/
The AT&T model is A1633 and the other major carriers is A1638.
I ordered the T-Mobile contract free model but have AT&T. I did this because apparently I can't have an AT&T phone shipped to an address other than the billing address (a few states away). Ridiculous. I'm guessing I should cancel my pre order?
My guess is that it is a combination of both. With no major change to the manufacturing process other than the different kind of aluminum (which is an easy change) they could ramp up production sooner. Plus, unlike the 6 launch, with its pent up demand for larger phones, this is a more "normal" upgrade, and Apple had a better sense of the proportion of 6s vs 6s Plus to build than last year. They were confident enough to include China in the initial launch, unlike last year. In total, I expect Apple to announce first weekend sales similar to last year because China sales will be included.Gotta say I was surprised. Slept through my alarm, and didn't hit the store until after 9am, six hours after they went on sale. Was still able to snag a 64GB Silver 6s with delivery on the 25th no worries. Either Apple's better prepared this year, or the sales aren't as brisk.
I purchased a 6S + 64 GB from AT&T at 11:45pm... I didn't realize it at the time but the ship date was already so behind!!! WHYYYYY??? Oct 16-Oct 23!!
I will probably have to cancel the order, and go to the AT&T store on launch. Thanks AT&T for messing everything up!
