Has anyone that ordered from T-Mobile gotten their email confirmation yet? I did my order early on via the phone to get the Jump On-Demand special pricing, but have yet to get an email confirmation (only an order number from the representative on the phone).

I'm in the same boat. Order number from rep only around 4:20am.

Well, I begrudgingly ordered a Space Gray 6s 64GB through the myAT&T app this morning (which actually just kicks you over to their website and ends up being more difficult to fill out the order forms than if I had just launched the website on my laptop).

Was happy (I think) to see that sleeping through the launch didn't cause me to miss out on getting one ordered for delivery for the 24th.

I said "begrudgingly" above because I wasn't wow'd by the new 6s (or the new Apple TV), but my daughter's older hand-me-down iPhone recently broke and I told her that if I upgraded I'd give her my iPhone 6. We're still on the older 2-year plans (with two of our three phones on unlimited/throttled data), so I still take advantage of the 2-year contract pricing with one of our three phones being on the odd year. So last year my wife and I got a 6 and 6+ and this year I could upgrade my daughter's line to get myself the new 6s. And to really max out the value advantage of the 2 year plan, I pretty much *need* to take advantage of the upgrades when they become available.

I had been trying out an Android Nexus 5 that I got as a looks-like-new refurb on the cheap as well as a Moto 360 watch and I really like the watch, and liked the look of the Android M UI better than what Jony Ive has done with the iOS UI, but the bugs, poor battery life, and Find Friends and iMessage equivalent apps that weren't nearly as good/accurate as the Apple versions, all combined to push me back to using my iPhone.

So, it's less about me *liking* the iPhone/iOS more than Android, and more about which OS I *dislike* less. Sorry to be buzzkill. Just a bit bummed that I'm shelling out a chunk of money for a phone that I'm not particularly excited about. I'm also worried that 3D touch is going to cause usability issues. Hopefully that's not the case and it turns out to be a genuinely useful feature.

I order the Unlocked T-mobile 128gb 6s in Space Gray. Not realizing that it did not support the new LTE Band 30 that ATT is starting to use. So I ordered the att version also. Guess I will just cancel the T-Mobile one when I get the chance. Unless someone is looking to get a that particular T-mobile model on launch day.

Did T-Mobile charge you a $15 "upgrade fee"? I ordered an unlocked AT&T one and the $15 fee surprised me. If T-Mobile doesn't penny-pinch like that then next year Im moving to them!
Nope, just the money for the phone off the Apple Store.

I preordered the 64GB 6S in Rose Gold last night and selected the option of picking it up in store. It seems like it went through, and I got an email saying the phone was reserved. However, when I go into the Apple store app and click on "reservations", it says my account doesn't currently have any reservations in place. Is this normal?

This is my first time ordering from Apple so I don't know if it's normal or not, but I'm in the same boat. Confirmation email received a minute after I completed my order at 12:10am PDT, but 8 1/2 hours later, no reservations showing on my account. My guess is that the store will catch up later.

Got up at 3amEastern to order -- could not get in on Apple site but got through on VZW and had confirmation of 6S 128 in Space Grey by 3:36am with delivery on 9/25.

Did you order through Apple? I think the 2-year contract option (for AT&T) is only available through att.com.

Yes had to order through APPLE because AT&T (via FOUR different reps) told us to not even bother trying to preorder because AT&T was not doing preorders this year. Only Apple.

Later did we find out that yes, indeed preorders were possible through AT&T.

Ordered w the ATT to do my upgrade w contract. To keep my unlimited data and all done by 2:10am CST. And all done. Apple.com still won't load for me. Oh well.

Seems weird that you can't do a two year contract through Apple. But I had to do the same because there is no way I'm losing my unlimited data plan. I used over 40GB last month

Got one ordered for me and one for my wife. Bummed with AT&T Next that they only ship home. Maybe I can work something out on Monday to get it shipped to work.

The Apple Store app took until like 3:05 EDT until the store was up but it was a smooth process once it was up.

Yes, because it didn't go on preorder until 12:01 PDT so that's the correct time for preorder in your time zone. Just a little FYI ^_^

That's the great thing about adding new LTE bands: it makes very little difference whether your particular device supports it or not. The towers that support band 30 should favor that band for any phone that supports it, freeing up spectrum in the other bands for devices that don't. So as long as there are enough devices to at least proportionally utilize band 30, everyone should benefit equally from the availability of that band.

I placed a reservation for rose gold 64gb 6s. It shows the full price of the phone but I guess when I go to pick it up I can do the whole upgrade program with them. I find the apple upgrade program better because I will not be locked down with att if I later chose to switch carriers or at least that's my assumption on how it works.

This is my first time sitting out on preorder for the iPhone since 2010. Just couldn't justify upgrading my 6 this time around. Good luck and enjoy to those who ordered this year!

Thanks I'm changing my order to the t-mobile phone. That was the last straw from AT&T. They couldn't even fabricate a justification for that fee If they wanted to.

Say what you want... All 3D touch gestures can be emulated on previous devices with a simple long hold.

A main new feature... Live photos? Are you kidding me? Just take a god damn video. Even Hey Siri without being plugged in can be easily activated with a simple jailbreak.

Features like the keyboard trackpad were present in the iOS 9 betas on previous iOS devices, yet have been removed to exclusively be on these new devices.

This may be the right buy for pre-iPhone 5s users ready to upgrade, but otherwise this year it all seems so half assed.

Not a compelling buy at all. Skip.

Well, you can delete an app with a simple long hold on home screen :) lol

Gotta say I was surprised. Slept through my alarm, and didn't hit the store until after 9am, six hours after they went on sale. Was still able to snag a 64GB Silver 6s with delivery on the 25th no worries. Either Apple's better prepared this year, or the sales aren't as brisk.

6s+ sold out lot more quickly, so maybe more people are buying the plus version this time.
In any case, there were news stories that Apple ordered LOT more 6s/6s+ compared to 6/6+ last year, so I assume the stock level was higher.

I wouldn't panic over the shipping date. Until it actually ships, AT&T's delivery estimates are pretty unreliable. I had the same experience last year and I received both phones I ordered on launch day.

I hope this is the case. It says 10/16/2015 to 10/23/2015 for my 128 GB Space Gray iPhone 6s Plus

Same for me. If I remember correctly, it was the same way when I registered for the Apple Watch try-on appointment. The 'Reservations' area is for the Genius Bar (and maybe classes?) and the product reservations aren't a part of that system.

Are you running a business out of your phone?

You could still cancel and get to AT&T 2 hours before they open on Oct. 25 to get the Plus on the 2-year contract. Last year, I was only an hour early and missed out. The guy after me got the last Plus, but I wanted 3. It's best to go to a store in the mall where 90% of the people are stuck at the Apple store line. Your store will vary.

Someone from another discussion board also said the same thing (that reservations are for the genius bar appointments). Phew! Thanks! Now I can rest easy. :)

Apple is now accepting pre-orders for the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus through its online storefront and through the Apple Store app. Pre-orders are available in first wave launch countries including the United States, Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, the UK, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, and Singapore.

All of the major U.S. carriers, Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile, are accepting pre-orders for the new devices, but online pre-orders are not available from retailers like Best Buy, Target, and Walmart.

We haven't heard rumors pointing towards supply constraints for the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus, but it's best to make an order right away if possible. In past years, iPhone supplies have dwindled significantly following the kickoff of pre-orders, and with last year's iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, 6 Plus supplies sold out quickly.

Both the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus come in 16, 64, and 128GB configurations, with four color options: Silver, Space Gray, Gold, and Rose Gold.

iPhone 6s pricing in the U.S. starts at $199 with a two-year carrier contract, with the 64 and 128GB models priced at $299 and $399, respectively. Without a contract, the iPhone 6s in 16/64/128GB is priced at $649/$749/$849.

iPhone 6s Plus pricing in the U.S. starts at $299 with a two-year carrier contract, with the 64 and 128GB models priced at $399 and $499, respectively. Without a contract, the iPhone 6s Plus in 16/64/128GB is priced at $749/$849/$949.

Customers who wish to make a purchase through Apple's new U.S. iPhone Upgrade Program will need to make an online reservation for an in-store appointment. Reservations are available now.

In-store sales of the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus will begin on Friday, September 25, which is the official launch day for the new devices.
