Hard to say. My 6 Plus would unlock when all I wanted to do was turn on the screen. So that's pretty fast.

Yeah, from reading this forum the last few weeks, if you have anything against the "rose gold" iphone or the color pink, you are gay. End of story, no room for debate.
I have a question - you know how in some apps that have content you scroll through, like a e-reader or something, the phone sometimes has trouble telling the difference between when you want to scroll and when you want to open the notification center or control center? Since they introduced the 3D Touch shortcut to open the task switcher by "swiping harder" in from the left, I'm wondering if you can "swipe harder" from the top or bottom to bring up the notification or control centers without confusing whatever app you have open.

I think I understand your question. There's no 3D Touch for those gestures. The only one close is to launch the app switcher. Other functions like back and forward or scroll don't activate with it.
Hold up! You can launch the app switcher with 3D Touch instead of having to double click the home button? Please tell me this is true.
Probably just saying "sorry..." as in "sorry but I don't think this will be what you expected to get when you ordered" not so much anything to do with sexual orientation.
But by all means, go ahead and twist it to turn it into some polarizing sexual orientation issue. Or, pretend this was last year during the gold iPhone launch and the OP said " it's definitely copper. Not gold." and your ASSumptions will all but make you look foolish and antagonistic.
Yes. If you give a deep press on the left hand edge of the screen the app switcher opens.
Not sure why people keep trying to defend the color as not being "pink." Unless, as a guy, you are trying to seem more manly for ordering that color and don't want to admit it.
I'm colorblind and red/shades of red are my worst problem, they look darker and closer to brown. Even I say it's pretty pink (based on every photo I've seen), there isn't much copper there.
Yes. You press hard and swipe right from the left edge of the screen to activate multitasking. You can even do it in one motion to quickly go back to the last app you were using.
Pressing a little firmer on the left edge of the display and then sliding your finger over launches the app switcher with 3D Touch. Takes a little getting use to and if you have small hands it's kind of hard to reach the left side. Haven't tried it yet to see if it works on the other side. Hopefully it does. Will let you know shortly.
Yup. 6S+. It's definitely smoother. Got 9.0.1 today and - to me - it felt like apps launched quicker and the fact that things don't seem to reload also makes it feel a lot faster. Granted I imagine after a few bug fixes the current devices will feel smoother as the lag issues get resolved, but app launching to me is definitely faster and so is returning to the home screen. Launched a game and could go back and forth between apps and home screen without the game reloading or taking a few seconds to exit / enter.
Haven't noticed it so far in apps, but safari yes. At least on the 9.0 software it has. Boooo

I believe you are correct sir. Company demo software hasn't been loaded, but apples has. Didn't catch that initially. Sorry for the confusion.
Had 10 safari tabs open and a dozen apps. Nothing reloaded.

I have the dock; I've seen it in person. It's NOT straight pink; the photos do not capture the true color.
I saw the rose gold today, not my cup of tea by a long shot. Here's hoping those who went for it like it.

Pink doesn't have to equate to homosexuality. I think he was just making the point that it's really pink, and not a traditional rose gold which more guys would rock.
What if someone ordered an orange phone but it looked red? and someone who had seen the phone said " the orange phone looks red, sorry for those who may have wanted orange"
If you mistook what it would look like as you haven't seen it, then you'd be buying it based on a colour it isn't. Maybe in part or whole they were sorry if you had ordered a colour based on thinking it looked different.

Not liking the color pink does not make someone homophobic. I think OP is just getting at if you were expecting the phone to lean more towards a shade of copper than you'll be disappointed.
Seriously, it's more homophobic to think pink is a "homosexual" color. Surprised that post had 25+ likes.

Unfortunately, your original post was so far off base that instead of reading through the topic, people are inclined to reply and correct you before moving on.
