they informed me when i asked a few days ago that they are not selling any unlocked phones for a few months, and no phone would leave the store un-activated. This also coming from a Genius who did not work the last iPhone launch. Maybe call cricket.

it really is a question for someone other than myself, if you're thinking about waiting in line to buy.. make sure you understand the whole activation process and limitations ahead of time. Stop by the apple or att store tomorrow and get some facts.
