We have no evidence or reason to believe the SE wouldn't have similar issues that you experienced with the 6s. I'm glad you're jazzed about the new device and sorry the 6s didn't love up to your expectation in terms of build quality, but let's not sing the SE's praise in terms of build until we've seen it and held it and used it.

Yeah I'm ordering an SE, going to sell my 6S Plus. What colour you getting?
From your signature I see that you have the AW as well, will having a smaller and more handier phone affect your AW usage? I'm on the fence about the AW, more so now than ever if I'm to downgrade as well to a phone that's easier to reach for.

I don't think it would to be honest, the Apple watch is more of a tool I use when I'm out and about rather than getting my phone out of my pocket. At home it is true I don't look at the watch when I get a notification but when driving it's nice to quickly see what it is and while out shopping or whatever it's better than getting my phone out.

At home my Apple watch is more of a watch than smartwatch.

iPhone 6S+ is by far the best iPhone on the market. Huge screen, 400+ppi, best battery life, OIS. The 5/5S/SE honestly look like toys in comparison.

Really? Why would you go from a 6S+ to an SE, it's far too small, especially if you're used to the 6S+. If you had the 5S then yeah sure why not but not the 6S+.

It is far too small for you, but it can be uncomfortably large for others. Sadly the "you will get used to it" myth does not work on me for the past 6 months after upgrading from 5S, so I gonna sell my 6S+ for an SE like him.

I also fell victim to "you will get used to it", it's unwieldy, I barely use my phone because of it.

For once I thought I would read more with a larger screen, since I had a habit to skim my news and blog feeds and pick articles for a thorough read when commuting. But I somehow end up to have my RSS reader and Instapaper abandoned since I upgraded from 5S. Maybe it is correlated, maybe not. :/

This is a really interesting phenomenon because the two phones are so different. What makes it even more interesting is that the SE is really just a rehashed iPhone 5s. So people really are buying into the upgraded internals and any other aspects that are inferior to the latest/greatest are trumped by the screen size. Never woulda thunk it, to be honest.

Indeed and that's why I'm buying it. I much prefer the thickness of the iPhone 5/5s/SE over the 6/6s. Coming from a plus to the SE, is certainly a big change, but by the same token. What the SE offers is the small size. I've long grown tired of needing to remove the phone from my pants pocket to get in the car, or sitting at a restaurant. The plus has advantages and the SE has disadvantages (and vice versa), but I find the Pros of the SE outweigh its negatives.

I'm not 100% sure I'll be ordering it, but I am about 95% there.

For 250 less then the 6s, I'm getting what I feel a good deal. the 6s certainly does more, but I'm not sure its worth the added expense, and I'm concerned the 4.7" form factor will be less pocketable then the 4"

Why did you get a plus in the first place? and if the 4.7 iphone 6 cant fit in your pocket then I would like to know the brand of jeans you wear. .

I find my previous 5s (gave to son when stupidly bought 6s) to be better than my current 6s and can't wait for 24th March to order the magnificent SE - the best design ever with square edges and nice size. 6s is ugly with slippery rounded edges and too big; I also have no use for 3D

I usually buy silver so for a change will go for gold and I never use cases too btw

I thought I wanted the larger display - my thinking is that it would be better with a larger display but my usage habits are such that the plus benefits were not being realized. When I commute on the subways, one handed usage is an exercise in thumb gymnastics. Taking the phone on a run is not as comfortable as it is with a small phone. The arm band, is absolutely huge.

As for my jeans, basic Levis, 504 I think (I really don't know). I also have to take it out of my pants pocket when wearing my work pants (dress pants).

Literally only apple can re release a phone from 2012 and have people buy it.
I think that stands as a testament to the design of the 5s.

I, like I'm sure many others are completely baffled how you can go from all that 6S Plus screen real estate to that much much smaller screen on the SE. The threads post SE release will be very interesting. I think people were just lusting so much over a 5S design with new internals they're jumping the gun a bit.
