Weirdly, this used to pop up when people were comparing black and white iOS devices, too. FWIW a mate of mine who is a heavily tattooed, massively-bearded heavy metal fan is also planning on getting it, just because he likes the colour.

As a woman, I think it's sexy when a man wears pink, as it shows he's confident in his masculinity, can make his own decisions and doesn't worry about what (some) people think, and it implies he's not a homophobe. I'd think the same of a man carrying a pink phone (and let's face it, the rose gold they're showing in the pics is pretty darn pink).

So yeah, get it if you like it. IMO that'd be pretty hot.

so dramatic. And really comparing apples to oranges. PINK IS FEMININE. Always has been. I don't know of any heterosexual men that can safely say he enjoys using a pink device on a daily basis without coming off as questionable. It's pink. I immediately thought "my girlfriend would love that" when I first saw it. No I am not homophobic and no I don't care what others are into. Just calling a spade a spade.

Actually, up until the beginning of the 20th century, Pink use to be considered a masculine color and Blue was considered feminine.

Not that it really has anything to do with this thread, just always found that an interesting fact.

So the color doesn't really matter to me. I'll only see it on the Touch ID ring

I use clear tpu cases in my 6 plus. So the back color does matter. Every now and then I'll put a color case on. but usually clear for me.

I'm thinking it's gonna be a bit more pink then a penny. I LOVE the rose gold color, but I wanted black bezel since I've had white for 3 years (5, 5s, 6 Plus). It's time to change that.

My masculinity isn't defined by the color of my iPhone, it's 2015 I thought we were passed this.

Yeah I think the Rose would have looked better with the black bezel. Especially the Touch ID ring would have really popped with the black front.

I got the white face iPhone 4S when people thought that was a "woman's color" (or gay person) I got the Gold & white iPhone 5S when people were saying the same thing about that one.

I don't think other people really pay much attention to your phone color though, friends might would, but presumably they know enough about you to know who you are and won't base it on something as frivolous as phone color..

Strangers are enmeshed in their own lives and are too distracted/busy/whatever to pay attention to the phone color of strangers, and if they do? who cares, they're strangers.

I really liked the rose Gold color. I thought if it looks too girlish, the case will hide it. I noticed the phone is already commanding a huge premium in the gray market in countries such as India where it is not officially launched. So disposing off this phone will. not be an issue.

I only look at the front, snd I much prefer a black bezel, so there was no choice for me. I also have a black leather case, but if you could get pink and black I'd consider a clear case.

The Rose/pink is not an option for me either as black bezels are paramount. Do not think I would have got it even if it did have blac bezel as the color looks a little off for me. My case would hide it anyway.

My choice is already made with two Space Blacks on the way!

As a person that has owned several Ralph Lauren pink Polo shirts through the years, I say go for it if that is what you want.

I don't think anyone is going to care what your phone looks like for more than 5 seconds at best.

And there is always Apple leather or silicon cases if you want to mix it up, because really from the face you can't tell the difference between silver, gold or rose gold.
