Eh, I'm a straight male (engaged recently, too), and I'm getting the rose gold 6s+.

I remember when people said the white iPhones were feminine.

And then the yellow gold phones were feminine.

Rose gold is a beautiful color, and I'm excited to try something new.

I wish it was more copperish then pink, otherwise it could've been a contender on my list.

I hate anything gold but was really surprised when I saw the rose gold iPhone, mostly because it's looks more pink than gold ;) so I decided to try something new and ordered it (always got silver before). Hopefully I'll love it as much as I do from the photos (I am a girl though…)

If you are worried what people will think, then the concerns are legit. Rose gold is pink! Its feminine, and there is no denying it!
You are literally the only one I've seen say this since the rose gold option was revealed. You're stuck in the past, my friend.

You might not be homophobic, but you are sexist. And the expression "calling a spade a spade" has racist roots, so...not saying your racist, but maybe if you're not, don't use that expression anymore?
Calling a fig a fig buddy. Better? Grew up with many women in the family I am far from sexist. But you are certainly a drama queen.

I'm a male and I ordered the Rose Gold iPhone 6s+ I'm straight and happily married and who cares what other people think. I thought the Rose Gold color looked great! The ring around the Touch ID looks awesome in Copper/rose gold. ( I would have loved rose gold with a black bezel even more though!! )
There are tons of men who wear Rose Gold watches and my Dad has a rose gold wedding band and I always thought it looked classy.

Edit: also worst case scenario, if you end up not liking it, just slap an apple black leather case on it and it won't even be visible anyway. Seriously, it's a COLOR the phone functions the exact same.

so dramatic. And really comparing apples to oranges. PINK IS FEMININE. Always has been. I don't know of any heterosexual men that can safely say he enjoys using a pink device on a daily basis without coming off as questionable. It's pink. I immediately thought "my girlfriend would love that" when I first saw it. No I am not homophobic and no I don't care what others are into. Just calling a spade a spade.
I'm not being funny but a lot of the heterosexual guys here in the UK look more feminine than the gay people themselves. Eyebrows , tans , tattoos , hair etc etc I'm sure a lot of them will rock the rose gold iPhone just for the sake of it. So i am really not worried about that.

I wouldn't be worried either. Just stating a personal preference and view

tough to say without seeing it. maybe check the apple store? their printed ads are usually color true (and they might have the rose gold watches too)

Get what you like. I'm a man and I'm going from space gray 6 plus to gold 6s plus.

Get what you want.

In reality though. 99% of people will probably get some sort of case where only the gold around home button will show.

A bit disappointed in Apple's iteration of this color. Most of my watches are rose gold but they're more of a dark copper tone, with a slight hint of red. I'm female and not a big fan of pink. Just went to look at the new RG watch at the store..it's def a metallic pink.

You know Kim Kardashian will be getting it. But if its what you like then flaunt it. Its your phone paid with your hard earned money so why not?

Me personally I don't like the color. If it was less pink and more copper i would of considered it. I just like how space gray looks the most. The black screen looks very elegant and stylish. Ill have it in a case anyways so there's no point in getting a different color. (unless i went with a clear case)

You won't be less of a man for using it. If it was hot pink then i'd probably question your masculinity lol

You'll be fine

Are you gay? Im not trying to be funny or mean, but I could see a gay male using this color with no problems. I do agree its kind of feminine.

Being gay doesn't automatically make you more feminine then other guys. I hate how we attach masculinity and femininity to colors. Is a woman considered masculine for buying a black iPhone?

I like rose gold but the 6S looks more like a light pink.

There are butch gays and feminine gays, just like there are masculine heteros and metrosexual heteros. It just depends on what type of person you are. Also I think people with darker skin tones are able to pull off some of the brighter colors better, hence why they used the guy in the ad.

The Pink color is classic men's fashion color!! Pink shirt with black suit is very stylish and good looking . So, the rose gold phone is just a perfect one for a stylish man
