I know it's automated to a point.

I just can't figure out why I've had packages that were at 'picked up' by ups at the beginning of the weekend, and 'out for delivery' without any tracking scans posted or any other sign of movement. This is happening in the current batch of iPhones also. It's quite common.

I've noticed in the past it is usually the overnight or expedited packages that forego any step by step tracking.
 
Mine updated to Incheon at 7:48 p.m Korean time. UPS 99 scheduled departure at 10:14 KST. Hopefully my phone makes it onto that flight. It should...

The plane leaves in about 15 minutes

I agree a disaster. They better get moving I've got glyde sending me a box for my 6s+ that is sold lol.
 
Mine still says Tuesday, but I highly doubt it.

Mine doesn't show estimated delivery day as I asked to hold it at UPS hub, but my last scan is the same as yours, so I'm assuming it's going to be Wednesday
 
This is so f'd up. Apple still shows mine as shipped, but with the original 27th-29th delivery window. UPS says they have it now it Korea (it stayed in China 48 hours), but still showing it scheduled for delivery tomorrow (20th). Seems like a long way to go in 24 hours.

I even received an email from UPS this morning (via UPS My Choice), confirming tomorrow's delivery.

I've planned to take a day of vacation tomorrow, to be here when it arrives. I'll be really pissed if they delay delivery by another day or two. If they do, I'd at least like to know today, so I can change plans.

For those of you that had your delivery date pushed back by a day or two, did that happen even after a recent email from UPS?

My last scan on ups website says locations scan zhengzhou 9/18 8:31 pm. Know I saw tracking before last night. Thought it was Saturday or Friday
 
Day 4 of Preparing for Shipment. 128GB plus Matte Black ATT order confirmation at 2:13 CST. I leave for London on Thursday for 2 weeks and its looking like I won't have it before I leave. Should have just taken my chances at the Apple store Friday.
Anyone else in the same situation with 4 days of PFS?

I've been in that spot with many packages in the past where there's no tracking updates until 'out for delivery' after the original pickup or in transit scans.

My status is showing my package in China with a 4 hour delivery window for tomorrow. I'm not even slightly worried.

Thanks for the reassurance, Steve. I was hoping that the online tracking updates were behind.

My own "Preparing for Shipment " saga continues. Now Tuesday is out, Wed is the next beat possible delivery date.

Apple, why do we get up early if you just randomly ship these things?

Weird, online the date is saying 9/21 with a delivery update, but the UPS app is still saying tomorrow through UPS My Choice. It'll arrive when it does but wonder what is up with the 2 different dates now.

Mine too - but I have faith it will arrive tomorrow. Sometimes the tracking scans are way behind.

Plus, local time here was around 6:30am when it arrived in Korea. If a flight from Korea to the US takes about 12-14 hours, it will be in the US tonight if they don't sit in Korea for ages. And once it gets to the US, it takes very little time to get it to destination.
