I waffled too long on the color choice (and was ordering an Apple Watch) and the date went from 09/16 to October. Bah. At least the website was functional the whole time I was ordering

Same here 7 Plus 128gb Black expected 9/23 to 9/30 but preparing to ship status.
I have the same on my card too. The issue was ATT's website kept failing so it authorized my card like 6 times causing 1 card to stop working and my debit to have 4 authorizations for $50 (the up front tax due).
Im sure they will all drop off and only the real order one will stay. Not overly concerned that is easy to fix too.

The fact that ALL (even those done before the official start time, I got in at 2:54EST) of the 7 Plus orders done through the ATT website have a 9/23 and forward date, makes me think this is just like last year with the 6sPlus where they got in shipments throughout the week and most people within the first 20-30 minutes (maybe even past that) got their phones on launch day.
I would be SHOCKED if ATT was not able to deliver launch day for at least some 7 Plus orders.

I am grandfathered in as well, Nation 450 w/ Rollover & Data Unlimited / Messaging Unlimited. I was assured there would be no issue upgrading to iPhone 7 with AT&T Next and keeping my plan. That looks to still be the case.

I ordered from the Apple Store app on my phone- it took a while to load though, I actually got in at about 2:05 Central time and had to move quickly...I had just saved it in my favorites so all to do was confirm my plan change and pay. Much easier than I remember, I hadn't pre ordered since the 6 plus
This is my third phone on AT&T Next and I am still grandfathered on the unlimited data plan. It works just fine.
Just ordered at 8:30 am Central and got two Jet Black 7+ (one for me and one for my wife). Apple's site says November but I got it through AT&T and its showing a ship date of 9/28-10/4. Hopefully it gets bumped up.
Ordered 3 via Premiere Website. Ordered each one in a row around 8 AM EST.
First, 7+ Silver 256 GB, Ship Date 9/15
Second 10 minutes later, 7+ Black 256 GB, Ship Date 9/23 - 9/30
Third 5 minutes later, another 7+ Silver 256 GB, Ship Date 9/23 - 9/30
So, I was right there at the moment the ship times started to slip!
First, 7+ Silver 256 GB, Ship Date 9/15
Second 10 minutes later, 7+ Black 256 GB, Ship Date 9/23 - 9/30
Third 5 minutes later, another 7+ Silver 256 GB, Ship Date 9/23 - 9/30
So, I was right there at the moment the ship times started to slip!
Have you set your clocks back an hour ALREADY? For the rest of us in the Pacific Time Zone, it's PDT. PST starts in November. 😉

I just ordered two Black 7 phones on Apple's site. They gave me the option of delivery or in store pickup & both dates were September 16th. I chose to have it delivered because the tax was $10 cheaper for some reason.
New enrollment in the Apple upgrade program went smooth as could be. No glitches or hiccups in the process.

I did the same thing upgraded to the 6s paid and all had to scramble and cancel
Boy was I thankful when I woke up this morning and saw that others of you had not gotten the order confirmation email.. Well I finally got mine at 5:15am EDT.. 2:06 after ordering at 2:54am EDT.
Still says Oct 13-20.. Weird.. The ATT App, just like last year and the year before went live at 2:51am EDT, 10 minutes before projected. I had my order complete before any of you reporting so far- at 2:54amvEDT.. And yet many of you who ordered 10-15 mins later than me - JetBlack 128 7+ - have that earlier 9/27 ship date. Wild.
Well hopefully, just like last year all of us ordering within the first half hour got our 6SPlus phones on launch day, we'll get it this year on launch day too. But keep in mind last week there were two weeks for Apple to get the shipments to AT&T. This week there's only one week turnaround. So we can't necessarily predict that it will be exactly like last year with an extra week missing...
So we'll see! Just glad I have my confirmation email..

I was wondering if it was a website issue. I was purposely being extra careful while be so tired.
Luckily it's all set ATT is cancelling the 6S right now.
Actually in hindsight I'm glad the apple process failed so I was able to take advantage of the 12mo upgrade plan. I prefer that phone related items remain on the phone bill, one stop shopping/billing.
