My card was charged 8 times, and then blocked by bank. Transaction from other card was also declined, 'fraud transaction' but went through laters after verification. (I was stuck on choose a plan, on final order page)

Hard to believe but I live near an Apple warehouse which usually improves delivery dates.
 
Well, just spoke to ATT. Apparently the website borked a ton of orders. Mine never went through. I have to wait for the $700 they're holding on my account to drop off. Just ordered through Apple. Now, instead of a September delivery (the whole point of waking up at 2:30am to order a fracking phone, it'll now be early to mid October before I get it.

Lesson learned here: Never ordering phone through AT&T again. This is now 3 pre-orders that I've been screwed over with.
 
Att also gave me issues. Then I went straight to the apple app.

7 plus, black 256. Delivery: 16th.

I was so torn between the JB and Black. But after blogs and videos I made the call. I use the apple leather case anyway.

Yeah, Apple app was smooth and easy! Will use it next time. I was ordering the JB from ATT, but decided on the Black sense it'll spend 100% of it's life in an OtterBox Defender case. So no need for the pretty. Lol.

No hassles other than not delivering on 9/16. The Apple website had all capacities in Black at 2-3 weeks even though I was on the store page as soon as it came up. There must be lower supplies of the Black and Jet Black because the other colors were all Delivers on 9/16 when I checked at first.

Very easy process - I used AT&T website. I couldn't decide whether I wanted to upgrade or not and left it up to fate. The color and size I wanted were still available this morning so lo and behold I ordered it. Should be here right on time too!

No emails yet though...
 
My credit card was charged but no confirmation email, happen to anyone else? Ordered my wife's but I received a confirmation email. Mine was a 128gb jet black and hers was a 64gb rose gold

I was wondering if it was a website issue. I was purposely being extra careful while be so tired.
Luckily it's all set ATT is cancelling the 6S right now.

Actually in hindsight I'm glad the apple process failed so I was able to take advantage of the 12mo upgrade plan. I prefer that phone related items remain on the phone bill, one stop shopping/billing.
I don't think it was the site I had the wrong tab clicked and was in such a rush
I did the a cancel confirmation but it still charge my bank account I haven't received a credit yet.

Right before I cancel the wrong one I ordered the right one I wanted the plus but I couldn't get the plus.
I ordered the plus on apple.com with the delivery of October 4
I can't wait till October 4 for the new iPhone Lol
That's why ordered the regular 7 to hold me over
 
Same thing for me. Infact, I've been charged twice. AT&T website FTW..... Still no email confirmation about an hour later now.

I was charged twice too. I hope Capitol One or AT&T cancel the extra one. But, we ordered two phones with the same TAX CHARGE. So, there are 3 charges. I hope they don't cancel the wrong one.

Are you trying to order thru the Apple website or the ATT website? The Apple one seems to not give the option to make additional one-time installment payment to become upgrade eligible. The ATT site offers this options but it keeps telling me the site is down from 2a-3a central time.


Same thing happened to me. What I did was PAY the current bill immediately (even though I'm on AUTO PAY and it would be paid on Sept 22nd). It then made me eligible for the UPGRADE and showed a ZERO BALANCE on the monthly bill.

I never got a confirmation email. But I got a confirmation text for mine once it went into "Preparing for Shipment." I still haven't gotten one for my husband's. His order says "Processing." So maybe you only get the confirmation when it's finished processing?

Originally attempted to order through Apple Store App at 3 am ET. Couldn't order until 3:14 ET. I received an email from Apple at 6:24 ET saying I had a phone reserved and I had to confirm within 24 hours. I attempted to confirm several times but was unable to complete. Then tried AT&T site and was quick and painless, went back and canceled Apple order.

I suggest a polite email to the Office of the President. I have had a bad situation changed to a positive one taking this action with AT&T in the past.

Order went smoothly for me last night. Would have gone through apple but I forgot I changed billing for phone to work address 2yrs ago (for the iphone6 order) so I got locked out on zip code confirmation. ATT order went through w/o a hitch. Not desperate for a new phone atm so I'm fine w/ the minor delay.

I was pretty suprised that I got such a later shipping date considering I got my order in so early but I've heard AT&T has done that in the past and it changes after a while. I'm excited for the phone though. Just filled my 6 Plus 128GB on Saturday and figured that was a sign.

The fact that we're seeing "0" 9/16 shipments for JetBlack 128s proves that the shipping estimates are just a cover your a$$ move on ATT's part in case shipment from Apple is slow.

Same every year..
 
We ordered two (2) 128GB Black iPhone 7+'s. I just received a PREPARING FOR SHIPMENT email and Text on the one ordered at 12:19 PDT. As to the second one, ordered at 12:39, I never received a Confirmation Email or any other acknowledgment. Although, if you check on the Order Status site, it shows that Order with the same 9/23-9/30 Shipping Dates. I wonder if the fact that the second phone was ordered 20 minutes later is why no confirmations have been sent out.
