No BackOrdered status on mine. Still 'preparing to ship'. WhenEVER they become available.. I know I'm in the very first block of people to receive JB 7Plusses. That's what i DO know for sure.. :)..

Now is the moment to start moving to the final stage of GRIEF, gang.. ACCEPTANCE. I was wrong in my first few posts here trying to calm everyone down that all 6+ and RoseGold6S+ arrived on launch day despite really worry in pre-launch period.. But I'm now quite convinced ain't no Plus JB's comin' tomorrow..

Epic, Epic, FAIL, Apple. Almost unimaginable. My guess is we'll see first Preparing to Ship changes move to shipped - at the earliest Sat or Monday.. My guess is that most of us earliest in line will receive ours mid to late next week IF, and ONLY IF Apple actually manufactured ANY PLUS JB phones yet. If they actually AREN'T AVAILABLE until early October.. well.. then it's a long wait..

Good news for me is I'm really still loving my jailbroken iPhone 6S Plus Space Gray and when my phone finally ships I have to return this one.. no jailbreak until a new one comes out.. So I'm hardly having 'no phone love' over here. :)

Cheer up peeps.. You'll get your phones.. And if you can get used to a 4.7" phone and 'need your fix' for a few weeks.. You can always go stand in line and get a 7 JB tomorrow.. Then sell it after you get your plus. You'll need a 2nd line on your phone plan to have those couple of weeks of enjoyment.. But... hey...
 
Even though I have my tracking info, I still watch this thread Bc I am emotionally invested in all of your journeys! This is better than Netflix. Suspense, anticipation, pain, suffering, and elation(when tracking is confirmed)

Checking online shows preparing to ship but when doing *6737# I see that it's backordered. I think that's good news? Most people have seen shipped soon after.

By the way I feel bad for the AT&T reps - they really are no help though. Don't call them about 7 pluses lol

That's cause they really don't know the status. Not their fault really. I work for the company. Not told what incoming stock or current inventory level is, only what expected timeframes are.
As for me I ordered a 128 GB jet black Plus that completed at 2:41 Eastern, and like everyone else, no movement, the authorization dropped off yesterday, but that's a bank deal, not AT&T. Not even worried about that, money is there for the charge when they ship. I hold out some hope because last year I was not supposed to get my phone and till the middle of October and I ended up getting it on launch day. I order off att premier site (corporate discount) and expected ship time is October 13 through October 20. Being that I ordered the jet black version that gives me concern And I'll be peeved if it turns out to be true that Apple didn't have the jet black ready, even though they didn't say they didn't.
At leastti won't be he person that will cancel the preorder stand in line at the store and then find out if the store doesn't have the inventory for the customer either. It's not that I Had to have Jet Black, I just don't like white bezel
I'm on AT&T Premier for business. Click on one of your devices, under installment plan you can click on View Installment plan details. Then you will see your new device and the IEMI will be there if it has shipped or been scanned and being ready to ship.

Originally ordered from Apple a Matte 7+ 128GB about 4:30am EST on 9/9 . Ship date said November. I cancelled and ordered from ATT, same phone, about 11:30am on 9/9. Status was and has been preparing to ship with estimated ship dates of 9/23-9/30.

I tried using the texting system but it didn't work and said try again later.

There are still 3 UPS flight scheduled to arrive in Dallas late this afternoon so I hope many of you guys will see shipments of jet black pluses? Hopefully.

*6737# isn't working for me. Same status (pending), and I am a Black Matte 256gb Plus guy. Sigh... This is the LAST TIME I pre order!!!

Deja que todos se maten por UPS y FEDEX. A Puerto Rico siempre me han enviado via USPS Express y jamás me ha fallado. No es el cartero regular el que lo entrega tampoco, es otro personal que corre exclusivamente la ruta de Express.

AT&T retail sales manager here. Got some inventory in yesterday and expecting more today. For those of you wanting to camp in line, I probably wouldn't recommend it unless you want a 32GB Rose Gold or Matte Black. Or Some 256GB Matte Black. Not one 7 Plus in yesterday. That could change today, but I'm very much doubting it at this point. No other colors but rose and matte black yet on the 7's.

I'm also one of you who pre ordered at 3:01am sharp for a 128GB matte black 7 Plus with 0 movement on my order. So no, we don't get special treatment either lol.

Hopefully we'll see a lot more phones today, or it's going to be a long, long weekend for my staff and I. We are one of the highest volume stores in our market, so we usually get a ton of phones in.

On a positive note, the matte black is very, very sexy. ;)

I just checked *6737# for my Matte Black 256GB and it said it was in progress. Hopefully that is a good sign!!
 
I just checked the *6737# system and instead of saying on the website "preparing for shipment" the texting system tells me instead "in progress"

Me, one 128GB IP7 Matte Black, order placed last Monday is ready to ship via USPS Express Priority to SJ and another 256GB IP7+ Jet Black order placed last Friday at 3:05Am with a 9/30-10/07 ship date is still processing.

Vaya:' Interesante lo que mencionas sobre la ruta Express. Ahora tendré que llamar porque AT&T me cortó un chin de la dirección en el envío y si era el cartero regular, sabía cuál es mi casa, si dices que es otro entonces de alguna manera tienen que informarle xD

I'm thinking "In Progress" doesn't mean anything more than "Preparing to ship." Oh well, Apple has already said there won't even be 7 pluses in stores tomorrow. We all probably went the best route pre-ordering.

Yea all the Jet Black Pluses were ordered online already. Hopefully tonight they'll be shipped.

The way I understand the deal is that AT&T gives a monthly credit equal to 1/30 of the cost of an iPhone 7 32gb. So my assumption is that if you want to own your phone outright without paying anything out of pocket you are obligated to stay with AT&T for 30 months. Is that correct? Can I upgrade my phone at 24 months? I assume that after month 30 I will either own my phone if I don't upgrade or start paying a monthly fee on a new phone. Correct?
It completely depends on how you set up your installment plan at order time.

For example, our iPhone 6 Pluses were put under the AT&T Next 24 month plan (original). The terms there were that if we paid at least 18 months' worth of installments, we could upgrade by either turning in current phone at 18 months or by paying the balance (6 months' worth) and being free-and-clear, either keeping the phone or trading it in for value.

This year, our iPhone 7 Pluses were put under the AT&T Upgrade Every Year plan. This new one allows for 24 monthly payments but we can trade in for another device after 12 months' worth (roughly 50%) of payments. At that point, we have to hand over our phone, but we'd get the next iPhone (allegedly major changes) with only paying for 50% of the iPhone 7 and then expecting to pay off the 2017 iPhone (we normally don't upgrade but once every two years anyway).

I hope this makes sense. It always depends on what specific plan you sign up for at checkout.

From what I heard from my work (since we buy so many MacBook Pros from them, and they're giving us special access to buy a phone on Friday), the Piano Black won't be available until November? but that sounded kind of weird, but I dunno...
It's not Piano Black, it's Jet Black.

And yes, if you go partially through the preorder process now at pretty much any given carrier's site (or apple.com), you'll see that any Jet Blacks won't arrive until essentially Thanksgiving.
