did anyone else have the hold on your CC disappear before getting your shipping info? mine is gone but no tracking info or anything yet. Probably wont update until tonight anyway but heres hoping it comes early
Same here. Also, I noticed the order time for one of my lines changed at some point. Just noticed that. The original email indicated an order time 10 minutes and 20 seconds later than what the latest check order page reported earlier today.
I added a new line and upgraded an existing line. Both IPhone+
The line upgrade is a grey 128gb for the wife with an October 7th ship ordered on Sept 11th. The other is IPhone 7+ matte black 256gb ordered at 3:33am est on preorder morning both marked preparing to ship FYI I live in CO and always always would receive over night shipping from carrriers and apple directly. If I don't get either it's all good I understand it's new MERICA and the price of admission is waiting lol
I've noticed 4 camps of people in these threads. 2 are the extremes. Also I want to preface this by saying I love you all and this thread so none of this is hate. Just fun observations. Get ready for a **** post lol.
Camp 1: Curious to see if they get a launch phone but ok if they don't. Hates camp 4 with a passion and will dedicate more posts to them than about their phone. They are a Minority.
Camp 2: Hoping to see they get a launch phone but totally relaxed one way or the other. Usually minimal posts and enjoys popcorn while reading. They are a Minority.
Camp 3: Really wants a launch day phone and tends to be not particularly happy when they see no signs of it. They usually are the majority and constantly share shipping and speculation. A mixture of positive and negative but nothing extreme.
Camp 4. Adamantly wants a launch day phone and feel they deserve one. Will find themselves bashing their carrier and Apple for causing them this panic. They assume the worst and have to defend their right to a launch day phone vs Camp 1. They are a Minority.
So that's it. I love these threads during the launches. Hopefully no one takes offense but TBH I actually don't care

Gosh. On the order status page, it now shows error saying there is no match for the information. An hour ago, I dialed 6737 and it said back ordered. I bet it's a good sign. Probably going to see the credit card being charged next. So funny after following this thread for about a week, there seems to be a methodology as how signs are supposed to be lined up.

Looking more and more like it was just falsely advertised as releasing on the 16th. I don't see any evidence that anyone's had one ship. I ordered my 7+ JB 128 at 2:59 AM and it's still "Preparing to Ship."

Checking online shows preparing to ship but when doing *6737# I see that it's backordered. I think that's good news? Most people have seen shipped soon after.

It was just a hold, mine dropped off today as well. Just consider all banks allow different hold times, 7 days is pretty long.
This is so stupid...my co worker reserved his Matte Black Plus YESTERDAY through the apple upgrade program for pick up in store tomorrow. Wtf?! I think Apple is taking from the stock coming in to give priority to the upgrage program members. Thats BS
