This what I'm talking about when I say "paranoid". If you have ever owned any product of any kind that is glossy black, you will know what micro-abrasions look like, and you'll know that doesn't translate to "full of scratches". They are also nearly impossible to see unless you hold at the right angle under light, because of how reflective the surface is.
Agreed

I feel like a drug addict checking my order confirmation every 5 minutes to see if it shipped....

Anyways, 7 plus 128gb Matte black people - we gotta stay confident! Hopefully this afternoon we will all receive tracking numbers :) good luck guys
unfortunately you are not the only one :(

Ah ok. Yeah that's the first I've seen of that window but since they already messed with your account that probably has something to do with it.

Feeling like I got bamboozled. Got my 6 release in the mail without much trouble on launch day, this is crazy.

Hello.. Long time (Camp 2 lol) lurker here. I just wanted to say for you guys not to get discouraged. For me, I ordered my IPhone 7 Plus 128GB Matte Black at 1:53am CST (I'm in Dallas) through the ATT website. The status went from 'processing' to 'preparing to ship' within minutes.

Around 9am CST today, I called the status update via my current cellphone and the text returned that my phone was back ordered while the website status still showed 'preparing to ship'. About an hour later, I received an email stating that my phone had shipped via FedEx and it will arrive by 3pm CST tomorrow.

Ive lost all hope for getting my 7 plus matte black 128GB on launch day. Never pre ordering from att again, especially if this is the process. ****

It sucks, but when you ordered, surely you noticed the date being given for when you'd get the phone before ordering? Pretty sure it wasn't tomorrow, so can you really be mad at them for doing exactly what they originally told you they'd do (ship it later in Sept)?

what?! no way...can you send pictures? Ive never seen anyone with that ship date

Posted about my experience earlier today. Earlier this week a rep performed some kind of "override" due to a mistake I made when ordering my device. They cancelled it then re ordered it for me promising me a launch date device. My order time is next to impossible.

FYI - Due to the high-value nature of the iPhone, Apple requires someone to sign for delivery when the shipment arrives. With the iPhone 7 launch schedule for a weekday, this might be an issue for those with working schedules, school, and otherwise busy lives.

I've gotten a phone on launch day via Fed Ex, though it was through an Apple.com order. I've always been able to print and pre-sign a paper and stick it to my door. I've never had any delivery issues that way.

Since I placed my order and received confirmation, the status was "Preparing for shipment" every day.
Today online, it shows "Processing."
When I call to get a text update, it says on backorder???

7 RG 128GB - ordered 09/10/2016 at 3:48:20 PM EDT - ship date 9/16/16 (every day)

I'm not too worried about it, believing it will arrive tomorrow. I imagine AT&T's systems have been on major overload for the past week. My biggest worry is having it delivered to my work BEFORE I leave early for the afternoon so that I can have it for the weekend!

I ordered by phone at 12:09AM Friday, got an email that my order went in. Got another email saturday saying my order went in and now my order date says Saturday at 11:00am.....so depressing.
I just talked with someone over the phone. She assured me that our spots in the queue for phones are the same and it is just a glitch in the system as the website updates orders to check quantities. Don't know if its good or bad, she seemed to think it was good for getting a phone fast but wouldn't make any guarantees.

I also had mine delivered to the store. They said it will be availble Friday, just like a walk-in. I don't know how correct he was, but if so, it's a good sign.

This is not true at all. I went to 4 different att stores with the same question. And they all said that if they receive any stock it will be for people that have appointments or lined up. You may ship your phone to the store.. but you will get it whenever att or apple ships it to them. Check your order status online.. and see if your phone has shipped.

You should be okay. That's my phone configuration too had the same situation until att called me to verify my shipping address then the text and email that it shipped came. Says fedex by 3pm. Good luck
