Carrier iPhone 7/7+ AT&T Pre-Order Thread

You're the first person I've seen on here that ordered the 7P Gold 256GB. I was starting to think no one ordered that color but yet it hasn't shipped.

I ordered just a minute(2:58am EST) before you and received the same dates.

I too have an order time of 2:58 EST. Same date window. I really don't get how people that ordered hours, even days later got the same dates and have received shipping data. Don't get this whole ATT system. It seems so arbitrary.

Pay attention, folks! If news reports of legitimate repute are saying that certain models are sold out, I'd wager they'll be sold out for at least the next week for those not on preorder. I don't know this, I'm merely inferring based on what the anonymous store manager here is saying as well as how logistics and device availability works.

To add to this... I've spoken to store managers in the South Texas market and the Kentucky market (also two very big markets) - in STX, only 1 store got 1 Plus in and it was a 32GB Gold. And Kentucky has gotten 0 in their entire market.

I've never seen this in 4 years. Usually we have something, but never a company wide shortage of an entire model of phone.

When should I give up hope?

Waiting on a 7+ 32gb Black Matte. Ordered 9/9 2:58am or 3:07am EST, depending on which portal you look at. Shipping date 9/30-10/7 and has not changed.

Status is preparing to ship.

Same thing I am waiting on. Who knows.

I think AT&T representatives are going by order status. They don't have any more information that what we see in order status. That is the reason, AT&T rep say that AT&T will not ship before the est. shipping dates.

What state are you in? Have not seen many Oklahoma People. This is the phone I got with same shipping Dates. Mine is still in the preparing for shipping....

I got a shipping notice few hours ago. odd thing is it shows its being delivered USPS. never had one delivered by postal. original delivery date was Sept 23-30

Theres a UPS Boeing 747 due into Anchorage from Hong Kong in about two hours. Maybe (I can hope) we will see a flood of updates.

An article on logistics someone posted here stated that a UPS cargo 747 can hold up to 600,000 iPhones but usually carry no more than 400,000 as a safety/weight issue. Don't know what the DC-10's and other the smaller jets hold.

Three more UPS flights are going into Dallas in the next few hours, maybe they are carrying most of the 128GB Matte Black Plus phones!

I ordered mine on Saturday and got a delivery window of October 7 to 14, but a few more late orders like mine have apparently shipped so that gives me hope.

I'm in your exact boat. If it doesn't ship today hopefully we'll at least see an estimate bump!
