There are a lot of us still playing the waiting game. Here's hoping for some news soon!
I have seen that you can pre sign for UPS, however can you do so with Fedex? I already contacted Fedex to try and reroute my phone delivery tomorrow but they told me that AT&T had to notify Fedex of the change of address. I will be at work tomorrow and no one will be able to sign for it. I have looked everywhere on how to pre sign on AT&T and Fedex for my phone but no luck so far. Is anyone else in this same predicament? Any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated!

not necessarily... my wife's 128 Gold 7+ never went to "backorder", the status never changed and at 1:12 CT i got the shipping confirmation. I've stalked this site for more time than reasonable and there is zero rhyme or reason. order time, credit card authorizations dropping off, status changes, and delivery windows all seem random. Don't give up hope my friend!

Got shipping notice on 32G Silver +, charge was removed from AmEx 3 days ago. It has not reappeared.
Cool, but would ATT ship online orders from Orlando though, or are those phones just for stores in Florida?
I'm from south Florida and I pre ordered a black 7+ 128gb on Saturday afternoon, so I'm not expecting to get it tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get it by the end of the month though.
My credit card charge still shows pending even though mine has shipped.
There's an option to have the package routed to your nearest Fed Ex facility. In my case it's just a store front copy & ship near my house. I've done that before. They verify your identity with your ID and you get your package. I believe you have to wait until the tracking info appears on the Fed Ex Delivery manager site, though.

Hope we (all those still waiting) get our 7 Plus 128 GB Matte Black iPhones (and other models) sooner rather than later --In my case I honestly don't know what happened on my order, if it was Premier or something else... regardless this preorder has been an adventure.
How or why is it important? We seen people being shipped without their credit card being charge.
From Dallas, I believe they ship to regional centers for sorting and delivery. Don't know if Orlando is one, but it could be
Don't give up hope. I don't think it has to go on backorder. I am assuming most who have the same dates as us 09/23 - 09/30 with Matte Black 128gb will get the orders on launch day. I just think for whatever reason updating their system is super slow. Mine is already showing in Texas so I am assuming it traveled quite a bit before reaching texas. They are way behind on updating their system.
