I'm freaking done with AT&T this is some ********. honestly I get it the Jet black I probably won't get tomorrow even though I haven't lost hope I'm sure I have it by the end of next week. But even seeing people who ordered the same phones later in the day and are getting shipped before people who woke up at 3am is some ********. whats the point of being the first to preorder then. Next time I'm going through apple.

It's asinine. Last I checked pre order should be FIRST COME FIRST SERVE by order time/order number. That's the damn point of a pre order. First in at 3am in order like lining up at the store.

I will never ever order a phone from ATT's site again; first and last time.
 
I was checking order status and almost clicked on "cancel order". :eek: I almost threw my 6 plus I'm supposed to trade-in trying to avoid clicking it. o_O
I hit cancel order on the app by accident , but it takes you to a confirmation page to cancel.
 
There's an option to have the package routed to your nearest Fed Ex facility. In my case it's just a store front copy & ship near my house. I've done that before. They verify your identity with your ID and you get your package. I believe you have to wait until the tracking info appears on the Fed Ex Delivery manager site, though.
Thats awesome! I am trying to find out where on Fedex's website that option is. The "Customize Delivery" is greyed out and will not allow me do anything.

that's exactly how apple treats their customers.. Looked they messed up on their iphone upgrade program people and are offering them to pick it up launch day at the store being reserved which ever model they want. and if they don't have it they take their info aside and notify them when the store receives it. that's real customer loyalty.
 
I am a iPhone 7plus 128Gb - Matte Black, ordered at 3:01am. Original delivery date of 9/23-9/30.

Up until now my order was just processing.

After spamming *6737# I was just notified my order has shipped and is delivering tomorrow.

If you are still processing don't fret! There is a high chance it will update today.

What's *6737#?
 
Got an update at 1:30PM PST.

128GB iPhone 7 Plus Gold ordered at 3:18AM EST has shipped with tracking.

As others have stated the status by checking *6737# changed from preparing to ship to backordered approximately 2 hours before shipping notification came via email and text from AT&T.

My 128GB iPhone 7 Matte Black was not so lucky still preparing to ship.

In the meantime ATT couldnt give a crap less if you get your device or not. They blame Apple if anyone complains since they aren't making money on the devices (maybe minimal amounts)

At least Apple acknowledges it and TRIES to make it right. There is no reason (not the customer's fault so not blaming anyone here, rather ATT) why someone who ordered Friday afternoon got shipped and we who stayed up are still pending.

Couple things,... just went to my local AT&T store to pick up a case and screen protector. Not one single person has started camping out there yet. Also, the Rep said as of right now they will have only 7s, no pluses. Unless they receive a shipment tomorrow but I doubt it.
