Yay for you! I'm still jealous. Since my matte black 7Plus 128g hasn't shipped, and I ordered before you. Hopefully, that means I'm getting one tomorrow too.

I almost guarantee you will. I think for whatever reason it is taking forever for ATT to update their system and notify everyone that their iPhones have shipped.

Well hello 128GB iPhone 7 Plus "Regular" Black

7+ silver 128 ordered last Friday around 830am just went from preparing to ship to back ordered. Charge dropped off this morning with my bank. Hoping for a shipping number soon!

My order (iPhone 7+ 128GB Silver) just said backorder over text but says preparing to ship online. I ordered at 3:17 am on the 9th. Think its about to be shipped!?

Most definitely. If it goes to backorder it looks like you are golden. That's exactly what happened to me last night. I was on backorder for about 12 hours and then received my tracking number and shipping notice.

9 years in, and have had every single iteration of the iPhone. This will be the first time my wife and I won't have new phones on launch day. I was upset at first, but when I look at my little 18 month old peanut playing on her iPad, that's what it's all about. New iPhones be damned. BTW, 256GB 7+ in RG & JB. Ordered at 3:04am, 9/9. No movement.

I've been lurking the forums for a while decided to sign up and join the convo. Preordered 7+ 128gb in reg. black at 3:30 AM Pittsburgh time. 9/23-30 shipping window. Haven't heard anything since.

Wouldn't be too unreasonable to suggest that regional distribution centers are doing the processing hence why everything is all over the place.

As for the supply of these iPhones I did a bit of math to get a rough number of how many we may be dealing with. One report online suggests a 747 can carry 195k iPhones (6), if say 5 planes travel to Louisville every 12 hrs as we have seen, that's about 2 million a day (8 million from Monday-Thursday)... UPS FlightAware data for iPhone 7 goes back to Aug 31st, so if (and that's a big if) they've been shipping consistently since then 30 million iPhones potentially are in the US. I believe the 6 or 6s preorder was 13 million over 4 days (not sure) and if the reports are true about how big this preorder is, these figures might be like 16+ million...

TLDR there's a chance that they actually only have half the total supply they need for demand.... just my thoughts
This back-of-the-napkin analysis would coincide with news reports about Jet Blacks and Pluses being completely sold out.

Finally got my shipped notification for 7+ silver 128gb that I had ordered at 3:05 am 9/9. I was stuck in the 9/23-9/30 window - so I was starting to doubt. But it looks like it will arrive via fed-ex tomorrow.

Reading through this has been an interesting experience -

I started reading this to find out how my phone might be shipped - most likely Fedex.

Early on everyone convinced me that despite the fact I ordered relatively late - 1 pm on the 9th and got a Sept. 23-30 delivery date it would probably be here on launch day - doesn't look likely now.

Looks like I'll be using my 4 (yes a 4, not even a 4S) a little longer. Short version of why - wife got a new job a few months ago and had to give up her company phone. She knew I wanted a 7+ so I gave her my 6+ and I dug up the only old phone I could find that still held a charge - my old 4. As you can imagine I'm ready for an upgrade.
