well went to a att store and they got only 8 phones total from launch. Out of the 8 only 1 was a plus model.. just pathetic
I think Apple dropped the ball. They had production issues. Then I believe they saw Samsung have problems with the note and decided to release it a week early so they could jump on that. Of course that means less phones available at launch. And they are launching in more countries next week.
My 7 matte 128 shipped Usps express was picked up yesterday in ft worth and doesn't appear to have moved and says delivery on Monday. Not very happy. I ordered about 225 central. Also 7+ rose gold 128 they had to correct on Tuesday after several mess ups but they said I would keep my place in "line" did ship fed ex expecting it today.

Don't know which carrier you're with, but apparently you have to cancel pre-order 24 hours in advance to get your same upgrade in store with AT&T. Best bet is to keep pre-order, find one in store, add a line, then return it once you get your pre-order.

7+ JB 128GB - ordered 4:16:50AM EDT 09/09/2016 - also still preparing to ship....both phones showing ship dates of 10/14-10/21. Tried to get in prior to 3...got put in queue. When I did get in I got stuck with the "system maintenance" message until 4. I was so hopeful like everyone else we would see more movement of the JB's for launch day. Tried to go through Apple's site but I still had one Next payment to take care of so I had to stick with AT&T for this year. I know better now. I'll make sure I get that taken care of ahead of time next year and then go through Apple next year. (I also have issues with FedEx in my area and much prefer UPS.)

Apple said that they planned on having a short supply this year. They are focused on the 10-year-anniversary model next year and want people to upgrade to that, so the 7 was just a "filler" for them. They said that they knew before launch that they would sell out because they did not plan on having a large supply this year. This created a domino affect because it mean there just wasn't enough to go around. Thus when people tried to use the Apple Upgrade program, they quickly found things selling out. They got angry and Apple had to reallocate supply, making it even worse for everyone else. This issue is that the demand far exceeded the supply, because Apple chose not to produce that a lot of 7 units. They already said this quarter is governed by supply not demand.
Ordered 128gb 7+ at 301 am. Got a expected delivery date of 9/30-10/7. Bought the phone out right. I do every year. On 9/14, a charge for over $900.00 was charged on my cc. This is not the hold. The hold fell off day after I pre ordered it. This is an actual charge.
Yesterday my order status changed to back order with a expected ship date of 10/14-10/21.
Spent about 4 hours on the phone trying to get a hold of att. Finally got through and after requesting a supervisor, I was told that apple took back a shipment of allocated units. It was "OUT OF THEIR HANDS" as I was told. My response was that's ****ed up and I want my money back. Refund will take anywhere from 3-5 days. I told them I didn't want to cancel my order just wanted my money back for the time being since a phone was not "SHIPPED" to me.
Wake up this morning and see that my phone is still back ordered expected ship date now slipped into November. 10/28-11/4.

I'm at the AT&T Store in Belton, MO. Last in line (only 5 people here though LOL). They open in a little over an hour.
The manager came out and told us he doesn't have any pluses, but that they would take our information and hold a phone for us when/if it comes in. He said they normally get shipments at 9 or 10am.
He did mention that another store manager he knows has pluses. (It's at a store in St. Joseph, almost an hour away from me, so not worth driving out there I'm thinking..)

I disagree because I ordered before you and I'm in NJ, about 40 minutes East of Philly, and I'm still waiting for my phone to ship.
Still no tracking or movement for my pre order. That's all she wrote I guess. I think I'll keep my pre order, and grab a case and a screen protector this weekend. Wait it out. Sorry to all that didn't get their phone today, like me. Still going to lurk, and will post when I have an update... whenever that may be!
My 7 Plus 128 GB is at the sort facility for delivery today. One of my relatives Matte Black Plus finally shipped last night. How do we upload pics? It keeps asking me for a URL? I want to upload a pic from my computer.
Like some others here I was able to get in before 3:00am EDT, but because Premier is such a mess it took me about 10 mins to finalize my orders. The first order I placed immediately showed a problem. 7+ JB 256GB. Email confirmation never came. 9/30-10/7 "null" status Image attached.
The second order went through a couple mins later, confirmation was instant, and has is being delivered today. 7 Matte Black 128GB.
Got the dreaded we need more "information" to complete your order (which was total BS) so I called and they had to re-order which put me in a completely different time frame but I was "guaranteed" that I still had my original placement. "Preparing to ship" forever and says 10/27-11/3 and hasn't changed.
Has ANY 7+ JB 256GB versions shipped?

I've went to three stores now in Lakeland, Fl. 1 store got a RG plus 256gb. The rest various 7 sizes and colors. Didn't get full details on those, I want a plus.

Wonder what the chances are that those of us with no shipment actually have shipped but haven't been told for some reason.
Slim. Im sure there are a lot more to come before Monday though; they may not deliver weekends but planes/orders do move over the weekend.
Remember, 9 planes landed overnight in Louisville from 1 to 2am EST, 1 on its way now, and 2 more today. All came via Alaska so from China.
Each plane theoretically can hold 150k or so phones; so a lot more could be in the works for MOnday delivery.
Wouldn't be the first time. I've ordered a phone before and have gotten tracking information after I already had it in my hand.

I'm just super pissed about this. Like I said before, I took off of work to order this damn phone right when they started taking orders because I knew i'd be off today and out of town Monday. I don't understand how you can order a phone a a minute after launch opens and not get one!
