My brother's 256GB Black iPhone 7 is now on backorder according to *ORDR#, while the website saying "processing." His order is odd though because I placed it at 3:44am ET on 9/9/2016, but it had "Action Required," which ATT finally (after a total of 3 hours on the phone) fixed it and I received a new email saying I ordered the phone at 3:05:37pm ET on 9/15/16.

My 256GB Jet Black iPhone 7 Plus that I ordered at 3:04am ET (12:16:51pm ET 9/9/2016, according to the website) is processing on both the website and *ORDR#
I'm not upset that I didn't get my phone, AT&T didn't say I would. I'm upset about stuff like this.

I think I'm more aggravated that I was up at 3am preordering the dang phone and finished up around 3:40am EST yet I don't receive a confirmation email until 14 hours later and then the order status page showing my order time was not the 3:40am time but 5:40pm, PM! Like really!?

Not sure these shipping notification things work. I have a 7 being delivered today via FedEx and haven't heard a thing via the delivery manager.
Same for me. If I track by tracking number, it says it is on the FedEx vehicle for delivery, but it doesn't show in delivery manager.

What's your game plan if they have what you want? Also about to grab Starbucks and go down the street to my ATT

They don't. No pluses at all. Lame. I was gonna just cancel my "pre-order" and grab from there. Would have even switched to silver if they didn't have either black, but no bueno. Oh well. Back to waiting.

How hard is it for them to ship the phones out in the order that they were paid for? I'm happy for the people who are getting their phones, but many of them ordered the exact same phone as me after I did. AT&T should be sending them to the people who ordered them first. That's the only way that makes sense, and yet they seem to just be delivering at random at this point.

I decided to wait it out and buy at Christmas. But I gave in last night and ordered Silver 7+ 128GB. Delivery 10/13-20 Premier. Ordered my BF the Black 7+ 128GB 10/20-27.

I have seen a few posts saying the carrier had a + or two (literally). There are carrier stores that have them, it just may not be the desired config.

Thanks OBAMA!

With all the delays on Jet Black devices and my ship date at ATT being between October 14-21 I just cancelled my order on my JB iPhone 7 128GB. I don't feel like it's really worth waiting that long to get the JB phone so I reordered a Silver 256GB iPhone 7 and it has a ship date of next Monday.

I can't remember a launch that AT&T hasn't managed some sort of screw up. I have very low expectations of them for such matters. I know the phone I ordered claims between Sept 16th & 23rd... *shrug* It'll get here when it gets here.

One thing I've learned is that Life. Will. Go. On.

Seems I was right once again...

My black 7/128 is out for delivery today, well ahead of schedule and I'd ordered on Saturday afternoon.

I do feel bad for those who had high expectations of AT&T, but them screwing up a preorder is not new.

I pre-ordered the note 7. It came a day early. Had to return it because of the obvious... So, as of now, I am using a friend's old Galaxy S6.

I really want my new iphone, but can't get mad that its not coming today, because I was never promised it would. My estimated delivery dates are 9/30-10/7.

I don't think people need to get upset, unless they were told they would get their phone today and don't.

How is it that Domino's can have a pizza tracker that walks u thru ever step of a 10$ pizza but AT&T on the other hand has me preparing for shipping for a week
The answer is quite simple. The vagueness is intentional. Under promise, over deliver. As pissed as some of you are, you have no reason to be, because as far as I'm aware, not one of you has been quoted a delivery date that has not been met.

You are all looking at delivery dates no earlier than next Friday, some a week or 2 weeks beyond that, and wondering why its not being delivered today or Monday.

These are the facts of the case.
