Carrier iPhone 7/7+ AT&T Pre-Order Thread

Unboxing my iPhone Plus right now! By the way the FedEx guy also dropped of my neighbor's Matte Black 128 Plus and his status still says "preparing to ship" so please have hope!!

I just thought about something, I have no idea if my neighbor ordered through Apple.com or through a carrier site, so I guess it's irrelevant that my neighbor received his Matte Black 128 GB. He could have ordered directly through Apple for all I know. I should have asked while we were all down in the lobby. Dang. :(

AT&T did not offer delivery dates for today which is disingenuous. By the time we all got the 9/23 dates, it was too late to go to apple. AT&T should have managed expectations up front--they knew that 9/16 was not realistic especially for 7+ based on supply. There would be a lot less pissed off people if they were honest.
Clearly there is no advantage to ordering in the middle of the night since FIFO appears to be a difficult concept for AT&T to grasp.

Lafayette, LA here... My wife's 7+ gold 128 will be delivered today (order went through 36 minutes after pre-order began); my 7+ 256 black is still showing 9/23-9/30 (order went through 18 minutes after pre-order began)

I'm in the exact same boat!! My FedEx status shows left Memphis at 4:17 am (so "late!") and arrive in OKC local FedEx facility by 6:54 am, but has yet to be out for delivery.... I'm going to take your word and assume it's on delivery but has not been updated yet!
AND, I'm leaving work early this afternoon to head out of town, but not leaving til the phone arrives! Being delivered to business, so "no later than 3:00 pm."

Good to hear about that Black 7 Plus! Which city if you don't mind my asking?
 
Well I just checked FedEx My delivery and I have no packages coming to my house - so I know I'm not getting a surprise delivery.

ha! my wife always gets her stuff first! I ordered the first apple watch at 2am on pre-order day and two weeks later she said, "yeah, maybe i do want one." and hers came weeks before mine... she thinks it's freaking hilarious...

Oh wow! Did your neighbor have a estimated shipping date of 9/23? I am in Illinois too, and mine says the same! a glimmer of hope for sure!

REALLY!? I have a 128 Plus Matte Black coming as well that still says "preparing to ship"... I for sure have a 7 Jet Black 128 coming that was ordered through Apple. How great would it be if they showed up together!?

I can't sign up for any shipper enhanced tracking services for my address because it is a business address so it wants to make me pay.

Sitting here at work patiently waiting (getting nothing done of course).

Perhaps you are missing my point, I get yours...you've made it about 10 times. FIFO is my only point. If I was standing in a line of people when suddenly a group of people who just arrived was escorted by AT&T personnel to get in line right in front of me and they got the last phones available then I believe I have a right to be upset that AT&T allowed it to happen. To be very clear, I'm not upset that I didn't receive my iPhone today...rather I'm upset at AT&T for not doing FIFO.

End result is that if people get orders filled after my order then I DO WAIT LONGER for my iPhone regardless of the dates given to me by At&T. That is simply fact and myself (and others) have a right to be upset about that...

We can agree to agree on both (mutually exclusive) points.

I ordered my Matte Black 7+ 128 on 9/9. Have dates of 9/23-9/30. I expected to get sometime in those dates. Once I started reading about tracking numbers for ship dates that were the same as mine (some after) for a similar configuration I had some hope that mine would ship today like a lot have. I am very curious on why some shipped and some did not. There doesn't seem to be a pattern to it. Like AT&T started throwing darts at peoples names.You name got hit, yours shipped. ATT online rep said first to order was first out, lol.
