Carrier iPhone 7/7+ AT&T Pre-Order Thread

For anyone getting a JB phone today, regardless of memory configuration, I'd love to hear some feedback on your experience with the finish. Considering so many people are concerned with the scuffing and scratching I need some hands-on feedback from regular users as opposed to reviewers.

Why are you all pissed off that you didn't get the phone on launch day? AT&T told you the date range it would ship..
and because it didn't ship early you want to string them up?

You chose to order the phone with those dates.

New Orleans here as well. Ordered 2 phones. I have a Black 7 32GB arriving today, but the Black 7 Plus 32GB not shipping until Oct 4-10. And I literally ordered the Plus about 4 min after pre-orders started.

Ordered on Apple's site.

I ordered my 7+ Black at 2:53:53 ET from AT&T with a 9/23-9/30 delivery and have had no updates so far. It is not unreasonable to think that a phone ordered that early would be delivered today.
I am pretty sure that my phone would here today if I had placed the order with Apple. I certainly would have had better insight to the progress of my order.
What value add does AT&T bring in this process other than making customers mad?

Pissed more so because someone who pre ordered the same phone as me 3 days later, has had theirs ship today while no word if mine has even been accounted for.

Just got an update that mine is now on FedEx vehicle for delivery! Apparently their system is slow to update for me, but the time was 8:33 a.m. (CT) when it hit the truck. That's about 2 hours later than normal from my experience with the local FedEx location. Now if only it will arrive before I have to leave town for the weekend...........

Was hoping for a shipping notice overnight but no luck. Hopefully next week.

I got ship dates of 9/23-9/30 so that would have been ok, but I'm annoyed that people that ordered after me getting the same exact phone as me when they were given the same ship dates are getting theirs today. That's pretty annoying.

Same exact phone from the same exact place? Color, Capacity and all?

Again we agree. FIFO is not hard to accomplish, but ATT didn't and they gave you (again general you) your dates. Whether those dates are fair is not my argument. My argument is, and always has been, WHEN YOU GOT YOUR DATES AND THEY WERENT LAUNCH DAY DID YOU (again general you) THINK YOU WOULD GET IT ON LAUNCH DAY?

Can ATT fix their system? Absolutely. Again we both 100% agree on this. So im not quite sure where we disagree? Perhaps youre confused as to what im arguing.

People that got their tracking number need to stop posting. Go create a new post. Anyway, has anybody gotten shipping confirmation today for monday delivery? Thanks

Lafayette, LA here... My wife's 7+ gold 128 will be delivered today (order went through 36 minutes after pre-order began); my 7+ 256 black is still showing 9/23-9/30 (order went through 18 minutes after pre-order began)

This was my first time ordering through AT&T (I normally order through Apple). I ordered a 128gb rose gold 7 for myself and a 128gb jet black 7 for my husband on wed 9/14. I received an email this morning, 9/16, that my phone shipped. I checking the tracking info to see that it's out for delivery today. I was expecting mine at the end of Sept/ beginning of October. This was a pleasant surprise. My husband's phone won't be here until October though.

Same here. Wife's ordered 10 min after I ordered my phone and she gets her's today. Next year I order her phone first! LOL!
