I tried swiping but it didn't work and I don't see an arrow to go back either. Like for example when I open the news app, There's no option to go back. I'm going to check youtube for some iphone tutorials for newbies cause this iphone landscape is completely unfamiliar for me.
In the news app they use a big blue < in the top left. Unless you want to go back to the home screen or switch apps.

oh my god don't kill me but I'm having buyers remorse. I don't like this phone. It's not intuitive. Like to change the brightness you have to go into settings, instead of just having a shortcut on the pull down menu or something. Does anyone know when the Note 7s will be back in stock?

If you open the news app from the home screen and are on the first screen of the news app the only place to go back to would be the home screen. On the iPhone to accomplish this you just hit the home button. Now if you click on something in the news app and it brings you to another screen there will be a back option in the top left corner to return to the previous screen.

There will always be a 'back' option unless you just navigated to something from the home screen itself.

If you are in an app and want to go back to the home screen, hit the home button, bottom center of the face of the phone.

Actually that might mean Apple is reallocating the stocks that were supposed to go to the partners (I.e. ATT) to their direct Apple customers, meaning it might be a bad news for us...
Too many factors we don't know. Apple has a lot more control because they are manufacturing the phones themselves. They can have the manufacturing in china change their production goals for each color to meet the required demand.

how can you view packages coming from FedEx, with a package weight and other info, without a tracking number?

That moment when you see the FedEx truck pull into your building and you get all excited, but remember that you're in the minority of people that AT&T shipped to using UPS...

Yeah, just happened to me.

Where did you find that AT&T is offering $650 for a 6+? I just did the trade in and I was offered $200

When you log on and go to Shop>Wireless>iPhone 7 you should see the following:

to change brightness you should be able to swipe up from the bottom and then left and right between those option screens.

Swipe up from the bottom and there is a shortcut with a slider bar to adjust the brightness

Swipe up from the bottom to access the control center. You can change brightness there without going in to settings. It's not that the phone is not intuitive, you just aren't used to it. Nothing is 100% intuitive. I know Androids certainly aren't to me - I have no idea what I'm doing on any Android phone!

And I suspect the iphone deliveries are holding up a regular package from Petco. Shipped Thursday from Texas to MD via UPS...hasn't moved and no estimated delivery date....darn you apple.

Hopefully that's the case, I just wish there was more transparency between the company and its customers but maybe I'm asking for too much

Just take your time and get to know the phone. Many of the everyday functions are in a bottom "pull-up" screen (swipe up from the bottom of the any screen that you are on). When you are on the home screen just swipe up from the bottom and you'll see several quick links (bluetooth on/off, wifi on/off, brightness bar, and others). Spend tonight with your iPhone friends and learn how to use it, you'll find it smooth and intuitive. Yes it is different than the Note but it does all the same things just in new ways, and it does so much more. Don't get frustrated, enjoy the adventure of learning something new!

All you have to do is swipe up from the bottom, and you'll see all your options, volume, screen brightness, etc, theres two screens if you swipe left and right to see it all.

My understanding is that there will be a promo code you enter in the promo code area on the trade in website. Supposedly this will be sent out in an email or text at some point. That's what I heard in some places at least. Take it with a grain of salt. I just hope I receive my phone in time before the end this offer.... I will be furious if that happens.

That image you attached says it Req's port. What the heck? That hasn't been anywhere in any of the details for the offer previously. If you click to view the details of the offer it is also not in that text either. AT&T chat representatives said it is good for existing lines not on contract and who own their phone outright. So confusing. AT&T get your **** together!

EDIT: Seems like AT&T might be confused about their own offers. It says cannot be combined with $650 switch offer. THAT is the offer that probably requires a port. Not the trade in $650 offer. I'm thoroughly confused.

Anybody who got their iPhones today, does FedEX or UPS require a signature for drop off? I live in an apartment complex, they usually leave UPS packages on our doorsteps but since this is higher more expensive item is there a chance I need to be home for the drop off?
My FedEx delivery did not, but I live in a single family home with a recessed doorway on a dead end street.
