Lol there is a shortcut. But its a swipe-UP menu. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and the brightness bar is right there. You are just new to the setup. Dont give up after an hour lol.

Lol there is a shortcut. But its a swipe-UP menu. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and the brightness bar is right there. You are just new to the setup. Dont give up after an hour lol.
Apps have to implement back themselves. Sometimes it's swipe left, or swipe right. Sometimes it's a button in the app. There's just no global phone button to do it.
Actually, you'll only need to bring the old iPhone in to an AT&T store after you receive your new iPhone or you can ship it back. The instructions will be included in the delivery of the new iPhone. According to AT&T it could take 2-3 billing cycles before the credits reflects on your monthly bills.
I'm patiently awaiting my delivery as it is on the FedEx truck as I type.
Oooh. The design of some of the apps I use like Any Do and Evernote, look better on here than Android. Nice! On another note, still waiting for my girlfriend's Matte Black 128 GB Plus. It didn't come with my Gold Plus and still says "preparing to ship." Original estimated ship dates Sept 30 so I guess I need to be patient.
That's a lot of iphones.
Actually I think it's six iPhones in one box. They are shipped that way if there are a lot of phones going to one zip code.
Then FedEx opens the box and delivers the phones inside to the customers.

what was your order time, model, and original ship window? If you have a 9/24-30 like mine, I think the CSR just gave you something to get you off the phone.

Ordered 2 black +'s 128gb on the 12th through AT&T. Estimated ship dates are 10.17 - 10.24. Two years ago ordered our 6+'s that way and got them by the end of September. I'm in no rush as Gmyle hasn't come out with the case I want yet and our 6+'s still work like new.
The only weird thing is that on the ATT site during pre-order it said that phones will be shipped in a "First come, first serve" order and clearly that didn't happen. That's why people are frustrated.

I think the CSR just told you the 30th date because it's the latest date that is listed for you. I don't imagine they have any more information than we do. I'm really hoping it doesn't come the 30th or after. Because I'm not going to be home for a few weeks.
I get all that, but what I don't understand is that on this page: https://www.att.com/shop/iphone.html It says in two different spots in the fine print "Req's port". It does not say this in the Offer details, however. Just seems odd to me.
Well...here's to hoping I even get my phone and can trade in my 6 before the offer ends...
I thought your pre-order was fairly early on in the process? Am I remembering that correctly?
That said I too am waiting for mine to ship..
