Carrier iPhone 7/7+ AT&T Pre-Order Thread

It may not have gotten scanned on the way to the truck. If it really didn't make the truck, you should be able to call and see when it'll be available for pick up.
I switched the sim from a 6s to the 7. There was no problem. When I checked on the Myatt app it showed my device as an iPhone 7.
Has anyone received their 256GB 7+ phones? still waiting on info for my 256 matte black 7+
I ordered at exactly 09/09/2016 at 3:00:26 a.m. ET and don't even have a shipping label made or anything. no tracking number, just "preparing for shipment" as it has been all week. How are all these people already receiving their phones when I ordered at almost exactly the time pre-orders started and don't even have a tracking number to see if it's coming anytime soon? People that ordered 2 days ago are getting their phone and I stayed up all night to pre-order. I just wish there was at least some form of minimal communication from AT&T or Apple to me about what's going on.

Lots of reasons, maybe they're a low performing store, and didn't get any. And were told that all the stores didn't get any. Maybe they were told to lie to you over the phone. Maybe he's lying to you because he's hoping that no one buys that phone while he's at work so he can get it himself.
That's awesome that your store has them in stock! I called like 6 stores in my area and no one has any pluses! Grrrrr lol
My Black iPhone 7 Plus 128 GB is on the FedEx Truck out for delivery! I am so excited! Now I just have to get through this day at work. For some reason, my co-worker scheduled a 2:00 PM meeting on a Friday afternoon...you can't be serious! Not on Launch Day!

Exactly. You can't become angry or disappointed based on wishful thinking that you would get your phone today. If it said 9/23-9/30 when you ordered that is what you agreed to. I understand that there are people who ordered after other people and are getting their phones and the earlier order-ers aren't. That is annoying, but either way you were still given a shipping date that hasn't yet passed. If it wasn't for this forum you wouldn't even know that was happening and GUESS WHAT you were not promised a phone today.
Yes, I am catching myself getting annoyed/angry about it too, but that is all based on my wishful thinking I'd get the phone today. When I catch myself feeling that way I remind myself that I'm a full grown adult and should stop whining...
Ordered a 256GB JB Plus at around 4:10 a.m. ET on 9/9. Got emails and order status update showing preparing to ship relatively quickly after placing the order. Estimated ship dates of Sept 30 - Oct 7 haven't moved. No tracking information.
For what it's worth, I don't think AT&T's "preparing to ship" is like Apple's. I think it's just their generic status that really means, we received your order and it will ship out during the dates we already gave you. This status is nothing to get excited about imho. Once it says shipped, sure, but not "preparing to ship."

same , got 3 iphones for delivery now 7plus128(black,2x rose gold) now im just waiting for the fedex guy to come.... cut my grass at 7am and everything.
People who ordered two days ago ordered the regular 7. At this time I believe only one person in this thread had a 256 MB 7+ ship. The rest of us have had no movement on our phones whatsoever.
The thing that bothers me is that our status is "Preparing to Ship". That status should mean that they have the item for you & just need to box it up for shipment. It does not mean that they are still waiting for the item to be in stock. In Progress or Backordered would be the more appropriate statuses.
I'm not angry at not getting it. I'm angry at them fulfilling orders placed after mine for the exact phone I ordered.
Agree with you completely! At first I was bummed thinking I wouldn't get it on Launch Day, but then I realized that it's really just a phone. I'd be fine without for a week or so.
I'm planning on trading it in in a year for the 10th anniversary iPhone anyways.
When I pre-ordered the iPhone 6 my status never changed from "Preparing to Ship," my phone just suddenly arrived. I have no expectation that anything that AT&T's site says is actually accurate.
There's also an app on your phone called Tips (yellow icon with a pic of a lightbulb). It has tips in it, and if you tap "Collections" in the upper left hand corner it has more that are grouped by subject. These tips are auto-updated when your other apps update and it will send you an alert that you have new Tips. Useful for quick learning.
really wished fedex had live tracking like ups started to offer for next day airs. that would help so much out since we can live track where the truck is.

I have to go to my mailbox to see if USPS delivered an iPhone for me. Not really expected, but UPS and FedEx aren't showing it in their system either. So I'm pretty sure my order didnt' ship yet.

It told me that it's available for shipping in one business day (so Monday), and if I got one day shipping I would get it Tuesday. Also the price they listed for buying without activating is $100 more than the Apple price.

I haven't checked the status on the Att web page, I got an email from Att a couple of days ago advising it had shipped and it had tracking info. It finally started moving yesterday, the label said overnight so it shipped out of TX yesterday and is out for delivery now.
