PS - I overheard one of my neighbors yelling about how he got sent the wrong phone. However, I couldn't hear where he ordered his from, but dang that sucks!

Second person sent the wrong phone LOL - Unreal. The people packaging these phones clearly don't care lol

Just received a text message that my wife's iPhone 7+ 128GB Silver has shipped and will arrive Monday. I went to our local retail store on Sunday, 11 Sept around 3 pm to place the order. Originally her estimated ship date was Oct 7-14. We got lucky.
I am waiting for the same phone and have the same dates but ordered a day earlier, hopefully i get shipping details soon. Mine is still preparing to ship.

I don't understand why there have only been a couple people getting shipping notifications today. If they truly deviated the pluses for pre-orders then why are none shipping today. I am still waiting for a 128 matte plus.

Does anybody that preordered the IP7+ 128GB MB configuration have something different than 9/23-9/30 as their ship dates? Every one that I've seen so far has the exact same ship dates....and it look like I can still preorder one right now with the same ship dates. Just a little fishy...

For APPLE pre-orders probably, the carriers will get nothing. (My pessimistic side talking)

It could be that they are expecting a huge shipment of that model to come in soon. Who knows...even AT&T doesn't know.

Pre-ordered at an AT&T Store just 48 hours ago (Wednesday afternoon); phone is on a local FedEx truck for delivery to my house as I write this... iPhone 7, matte black, 256GB.
This is precisely what I was talking about in a previous post.

Frankly, there is no way you could otherwise be doing this if all of we preorder folks were actually having our orders fulfilled in *any* semblance of rational fashion. Obviously, something else is going on behind the scenes.

I will say, however, that folks such as yourself (assuming that your story is true) are really skewing things to where it's better to preorder days after preorder is opened than during the first 15 minutes of preordering.

Mine:
2 IP7+ MB 256GB, ordered 9/9 8:30am/12:30pm ET, 9/23-9/30

Just called AT&T about my order(IP7+ 128GB JB with shipping estimate of 10/14-10/21) and they said my phone is at the warehouse now and will be shipped out as soon as possible so there is some hope still!

So they pulled those dates out of thin air? I don't believe in today's technology packed world that nobody at apple or att knows who is receiving what, how many and when.

I got too antsy and went to the ATT store in La Jolla to pick up a black 7/128gb. They had plenty and nobody was really in the store. I'm sure I'm gonna regret it later since I originally ordered the 7 plus jet black.
